I dunno if they're lazy or just that unimaginative.

I can see GL fans being extra salty after F4 seeing GL making Parallax a cloud. Make me wonder if all these writers were big fans of the smoke monster.

Then was going go to the Schumacher batman films.. Superman returns.. Any lee's hulk.. Daredevil.. Elektra.. Catwoman.. Jonah hex

i think it's just the rush of bringing these movies out so fast that is ruining it. although deadpool looks good action wise. the dialogue looks off. it might work since deadpool is known for the cheesy one liners/jokes. but i definitely feel like it's a rush towards the finish line of bragging rights that is fueling the over saturation of movies. much like how jordan is doing it right now

I don't really give a crap about reviews and ratings anymore..

Terminator Genesis was killed in reviews and ratings and I liked it anyway #yeshrug

I posted this before some place.. But x-men is the perfect example.. Fox had the key pieces in place with fassbender and mcavoy

You tell a real 'first class' story, with: cyclops, Jean, beast, angel and iceman

First film you establish the world they live in and what causes the split with magneto.. And start forming brotherhood of mutants

Then plan out the villains by film and build up to the huge events like: 'days of future pass', 'age of apocalyse', 'Phoenix saga'..And you introduce new mutants to the team in subsequent films.. Show them finding key members and have them joining actually mean something

After the first film similar to first class (except with the real team being introduced in rebooted).. Then you have films with juggernaut, mr sinister, omega red, maybe onslaught.. Plan them out then go to the big headliner events.. Sprinkle in the gov stuff with sentinels and other side villains like sabertooth and mystique

Same issue I got with how dc is going about things

Domino? Where? Thought it was just Copycat, Colossus, Ajax and Teenage whatever her name is in this movie
 
i think the og punisher was lionsgate before marvel studios came together. not sure about ghost rider
 
FOX the Meek Mill of Comic book movies. They need to quit this hobby and give everything to MCU already.

I hope this is the end of it after FF4 bombs :smh:

I didn't mind the set-up/origins of GR1, didn't even hate Cage in it either but the movie could have at least been salvageable if they put some effort into the villain.

After seeing Mad Max (and I know he is starting to become like Cranston with being top choice for comic book roles and I know he has a deal with DC/WB) but I could see Hardy as Blaze. Then cast Cranston as Blackheart or Mephisto.

For deadpool to fail it will take a lot. I still cant see it being more than a comdey where people get shot. Like a 21 jump street
