One things for sure, that dead pool costume is on point. Can't get anymore true. Please lord and his bff Buddha let the movie be good

Yeah the Pool costume is FUEGO!!, now we have to hope that the dialogue is up to the characters madness... mmm chimichangas.

Judging by the cgi markers in some of the leaked pics, I assumed from the beginning it would. These guys know exactly what they're doing and are going all out. I have no doubts this movie will deliver considering how much passion the writers/Reynolds has had from the beginning on this project.
 
Deadpool costume is def on point. Still don't have high expectations for it.

Are they going for an R rating or PG13?
 
If they were smart they'd send reynolds to sdcc in full costume and have him hang out with the other 40-50 people dressed up as deadpool then reveal himself at the end of the day.

Just watched the Rogue Cut last night. Friend got the blu-ray early. Have to say it is the better version of the film. A lot of the scenes are simply better. One scene particular that I thought was much better was when Raven infiltrates the military base. I also liked the scene where Wolverine convinces 70s Xavier to help change the future.

Most of the middle was completely unchanged. Just a few additions here and there. Nothing to be gassed about until the exchange between Xavier and Logan in Cerebro, and even that wasnt too significant.

A lot of the added scenes just clarify how Xavier comes to terms with his powers and his wheelchair making past Xavier more compelling. You just feel for him more. There was also a compelling scene between Hank and Raven where Hank comes to terms with his mutation as well. BLASTER's favorite line comes back in that scene too. More cringeworthy than the first time :rofl:

As for the Rogue Scenes
How the **** did this not make it into the movie?
When Kitty loses too much blood they go and retrieve Rogue so she can absorb kitty's power and take over for her. Xavier and all the older future X-Men thought she was dead because they couldnt find her with Xaviers powers. The younger future X-Men knew she was in cerebro where they were experimenting on her. The younger future X-Men tried to retrieve her before but the place is too heavily guarded. Xavier knows secret passageways to the mansion that no one else knows about. Bobby and Erik break into the mansion with Xavier providing telepathic support. And no, it is not explained why Xavier could not detect Rogue simply because she was in the cerebro room.

Even tho the scene was good I didnt like how the cut it back and forth with the scene where past Erik goes to retrieve his helmet. Should've separated them. But like I said IDK how this scene was cut out. If anything the scene where past Erik gets his helmet shouldve been the one cut out. Breaking into the mansion was much better. Especially with how it ended

Fight scenes are of course better. There is a little bit of extra tension in the prison break scene

TL:DR All in all the movie just flows together better. It also makes you feel for past Xavier more

When they go to Piotr's home there is a part where his mom tells his younger sister "go upstairs and bother your sister". Scarlet Witch existence confirmed? :nerd:

I was hoping they would show her at the end when Piotr is watching the broadcast of Erik's speech. But they did nothing with it

Makes sense that she was heavily under guard because she's the real reason the Sentinels can use other people powers in that movie :smh: Was that mentioned in this cut or did they stick with the Mystique is the reason?

Stuck with the Mystique reason. She was heavily guarded and they were experimenting on her. Didnt seem like they had gotten to a point where the sentinels where based of her powers.

I did not know she was the reason they can switch powers. Makes a whole lot more sense than Mystique

Logically it makes sense seeing as her power is to absorb and use other people's powers. Like when they said it was Mystique that got them to be able to do that I was like "what?!" You have a mutant who can do that, who was cast for this movie and has been in other movies. Whatever tho. Its their movie not mine.
