"X-Men" Spinoff Film "New Mutants" Official at Fox



Oh wow did not expect a New Mutants movie of all things. Don't got much to say

I mean their title was always pretty boring and the cast was never a huge success as a group. Probably call the movie X-Men: New Mutants. When I first read this (on another site) I thought it was for the FOX Marvel tv show they wanted to do not a movie.

They gonna have an uphill battle if they stick with the original cast. Maybe this will have a good Emma Frost in it though

Still rather hear news on that X-Force movie.

My feeling for Deadpool is that his personality and character and the action scenes are going to be on point

But the story is going to suck

just like most of the FOX marvel movies

At least one of the DOFP future mutants were New Mutants so this might be their way of reintroducing those characters

If Sunspot's in it he's probably gonna be recast you know with an actual actor. Probably try to get that kid who played the wolf in those vampire movies

As far as the New Mutants goes, I'm going to give Fox the benefit of the doubt for now, but after reading that quote from Hugh, I just realized that dude has had nothing but great performances as Wolverine, yet damn near all of the movies were bad. Kind of a shame.

If I were Fox i'd go ahead and renew this dudes contract for another 10 year film deal like yesterday.

In a recent interview with Variety, Fassbender revealed that he would love to continue to play the menacing villain, but his contract says otherwise. “I will shoot a hundred of them! The contract is in three film deals, and this is the last of that.” He then adds, “But I’ll be curious to see what happens next.”

Yeah, to get a talent like Fassbender... who actually wants  to stay making comic book movies, that would be a no-brainer for any studio. Lock him up for as many films as he'll sign on for.

X-Men 2, First Class, and DOFP were the best X-Men films IMO.

Is there any explanation of where this Deadpool film takes place in the X-Men timeline? I know Colossus is in the film...If they use a new actor/design of Colossus in metal form, that it'll be consistent in the X-Men movies.

First class was the epitome of meh

5 out of their 7 movies have been decent at best. I consider Wolverine 1 an enjoyable flick

Wolverine 2 is better than the first by miles. TBH, DOFP is the only one out of them all I will watch again. But I still have problems with that film.
