Teller is a good sidekick guy.. Could easily see both surviving

But both gotta do a better job of choosing projects.. Like I thought 'that awkward moment' would be entertaining since so much of the cast was so likeable

And thought this had a chance based on casting.. And things I've heard about chronicle, which I still haven't seen

I was just about to say...I loved MBJ and Miles in Awkward Moment haha. Miles is great as that goofy sidekick friend.
 
I think MBJ is actually being choosy just by the lack of project he has, I imagine the roles are pouring for him but probably been turning them down.

And I know many hates Fox but if you ignore NTers opinions, they were still headed to a good place with First Class, DoFP and even the Wolverine making plenty of money by Fox's standards. So if I were offered a role in an F4 franchise (which is starting over) where Trank is coming off Chronicle (and for MBJ, he had experience filming with him already) and a sequel was already announced and promised an XMen team-up in the future and Deadpool R-rated could be making cameos, I wouldn't turn it down either. I could see those promises and seeing Apocalypse being made very promising.

Like most script probably looks good on first read (with a some exceptions of course) but it all ends with the execution and by the time you find out, it is just too late to back out. Like I am reading the third act and the conclusion felt real short and that reminds me of IM2 and the final fight with Whiplash and how short it was. Those things are more difficult to gauge on paper until it is filmed and edited then you likely won't know that part will be that bad.

lol @ thinking MHJ will take a hit. One blemish in an almost perfect resume with great acting skills. Kate Mara comes from old money so she has the connects. Shes a good actress tho. Not amazing but good

Also where are all the dudes who were calling some of us negative because we dont get a throbbing erection for every single comic book movie trailer? :lol: Seems like there are only a couple of you left.

Dont see how anyone with two functioning brain cells had faith in this movie

Trash as I expected. The F4 were always a corny concept to begin with :smh:

I understand why they tried to go the gritty sci-fi route though

Not surprised at all, just think its hilarious that NT'ers in this thread said to not pay attention to reviews and pay money and make your own decision...Fox isn't getting a cent of my money for this travesty.
 
Yall def should form your own opinion. When you go in to movies with all these reviews already in your head youre already going in negative...pucking it apart like... damn that reviewer was right. Fox going to make their money off this movie. Believe that. Id just ratger go see for matinee now then wait 6 months for dvd. Or 3 months for a good copy

Sucks that this movie looks to be trash.
I really liked the castings.

Hopefully it doesn't hurt MBJ and Miles careers.
 
Seriously, why some of you have to throw shade telling people you ain't got brain cells if you thought the film could possibly be good just because others just wanted the film to succeed? I don't think anyone really thought this would be the next TDK or IM1 but why be mad and insult those who wanted to give the film a chance or want to judge the film for themselves instead of listening or believing the earlier reports about the films production? If you read all the production problems IM1 had and judged it from that alone then you would see it as just of a big failure as F4 is.


But hey, if some of you guys simply feel better by giving the "I told you so" diatribe then be my guest I guess...

Like RFX said, every review I've read seem to agree that the movie was well acted but the story and the 2nd and 3rd act was crap. What a waste of acting talent.
 
I think MBJ will be just fine. I always viewed this role as his first chance for that big pay day and as an opportunity to propell him into more mainstream roles to increase his profile and get him more money.
