I have to see it now.

Were the fight scenes good?

Autocorrect got me

Man. Was hoping that would at least be great.

Convinced that Trank is an asshat

Making Kate cry on set, being drunk, and destroying property? Geez...great that he stays away from Star Wars

The thing that's crazy is this movie is on track to do 45 mil. Pretty good considering how much it's getting slammed.

What a travesty that it would do better than a film like edge of tomorrow, which was a much better movie than its box office

Fox has more than enough tools to play with and they just can't get these things right..

Like after seeing how well fassbender did as magneto in first class, how do you not make him the main focus/villain of the second film.. Have him form the brotherhood of mutants

Sure you can have mentions of trask and gov stuff, but that's a subplot dropping Easter eggs for future films

Have Charles deal with being wheelchair bound.. And having to fight his former friend and ally with raven/mystique

I wish marvel had fassbender, mcavoy, Jennifer Lawrence, mbj and teller

Embarrassing. How do you get the same rating as Elektra? At least that movie still was in the early stages of CGI. This movie has no excuse to be at least a fun summer action flick

Only made $2.7m last night and now estimates are down to $30m for the weekend from $40m-$45m.

I can't believe I am saying this but the film could have used some (maybe even a lot ) of Michael-Bay-action.

$120m

I am curious how well received it will be outside of the US though.

Here are the three actresses screen testing for Bella Donna Boudreaux for Gambit

rebecca-ferguson-lea-seydoux-abbey-lee-3-shot.jpg

Rebecca Ferguson, of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and The White Queen.

Lea Seydoux, of Blue Is the Warmest Color, Spectre, and, lest we forget, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

Abbey Lee, of Mad Max: Fury Road and the forthcoming Nicolas Winding Refn film The Neon Demon.
I don't recognize any of them and I've seen a few of these movies.

So I'll go with attraction, the two on the side are the hottest with the blond being the sexiest of the two.

Rebecca Ferguson has some of the nicest boobs i've seen on a tv show. Her scenes in The White Queen had my mouth watering.

Lea Seydoux was great in Blue Is The Warmest Color. Her lesbian skills were looking top notch.

That's actually, a decent budget. Hmm

And if the producer is to be believed, that is actually still under budget despite the news/rumors of production issues and supposed reshoots.

And speaking of budgets, it is known that Deadpool got greenlit because it has a low budget and that also allowed them to be rated R and more freedom. According to Tim Miller, those budget cuts cost them a villain in the movie and Cable might be in the sequel (maybe if received well and they get a bigger budget)?

"In the original script the action in the third act was great, but it was just Deadpool and a lot of guns. One of my notes early on was that I wanted to see more superhero stuff. We had Garrison Kane in there for a while, but in the final round of budget cuts we had to take him out, because he was a pretty expensive dude. He’s got these bionic arms that change shape; he would have been a visual effect for a large part of the movie. And as it turned out, a visual effect too far. I went through the list of Marvel characters and picked a few others I thought could be visually spectacular and fun.

And at the end of that list was Negasonic, which I just thought was a freaky, funny name. And I sent this list over to the writers, Rhett (Reese) and Paul (Wernick), and they were like, 'Oh my ******* god, we have to use her!' So that’s how she ended up in the movie. Her name was cool, and we kind of wanted a straight-man to play against Colossus. We thought about Cannonball, but he would’ve been a stupid hick character, whereas the guys wrote Negasonic as this deadpan goth teen, which was a great angle. She turned out really well. There aren’t really many definitive Deadpool villains, apart from Cable. If we don’t put Cable in Deadpool 2 I think we’ll be run out of town on a rail.”

^^Yea, the director would be right in the sense that it's under budget compared to cbm standards these days. Idk if that's what he might've meant.
