Got order confirmation, but no shipping confirmation. Should I RIP.

Lately I'm always seeming someone with supreme on U Street or Georgetown

Was gonna say this. Not so common outside of the city, but definitely seeing more and more anytime I am down there. Also increasingly amongst the DCPS hs crowd, but its interestingly enough skaters who have lesser hyped pieces and like draw all over their camps and etc lol..

I'm pretty sure we'll be able to flourish but it's just weird that some people are receiving there orders tomorrow even though I ordered around the same time as them.

Supreme changed when they got the online store in 2007 and slowed down distribution to boutique type stores like Commonwealth, Commissary, Leilow Hawaii, Nomad, etc. Jebbia used to say "he didn't wanna supply the masses just the few heads who know whats up", then he figured out he could produce WAY more **** and still not meet the demand 

. I ain't eem mad it was bound to happen it's a business. I think they've done a pretty good job of getting bigger while still maintaining that " aura".

Asian presence will always be big with Supreme tho. The brand started right when that whole scene with Bape and all that was blowing up over there so they took notice fairly early. For a little bit the brand was bigger in Japan than it was here. I think A-ron said around 1998 is when **** started getting crazy, said he would be in Tokyo and would have people coming up to him for autographs and **** from seeing him in magazines

In NY I only see Asian people wearing preme, them Japan hype beast. It's mainly only the Asians especially in my school too, where they barely speak English.

Theres hardly any japanese in nyc, you must be talking about chinese, especially since you said baruch.

On another tip: I used to see very few people rocking Preme back in the Day, and if they did buy it it was Only the HATS

I think Mainstream jump on it HARD after homie made the change to being more limited and plus let's not Forget

Tyler going crazy on it which really pushed the wave across the USA fo sure!

I used to cop stuff at Cmon in Norfolk. I got lots of stuff on sale there. I dropped off a bit though around 2007, and hadnt bought any clothing from them until the last year or so. Some reason I got pulled back in, mostly because of the anti hero collab.

I'm asian but I've been rocking supreme since 05. Used to always make a trip there every week and cop 1 or 2 things from Supreme and then walk down the block and cop 1 or 2 things from Clientele. Who here remembers Clientele?

Played hookie thursday and had a long weekend snowboarding in MA...come back and saw there was a big restock and people aren't sleeping on the backpacks any longer. I'm glad I copped right away 

Supreme drop + lodge food and beer = pricey week for a broke student 

I hate that Supreme still has it so you can only ship to your billing address; I'm states away from home (MD) at school (NY) and my backpack is getting to my house on Monday...I won't be able to see it for two weeks until I'm home from spring break, I'm bummed. Hopefully when people get theirs they'll post some nice pics!

Also, not a lot of listings yet but backpacks are going up on eBay for $300+...never seen that high of a price for bags before that weren't TNF collabs, the hype is real this season

^^ I do think those prices will come back to earth, who knows though. Couldn't agree more on the shipping to billing. I'd rather ship to my office than apartment. Sometimes UPS leaves with front desk at apartment complex, other times they just leave a note.

Man listen, if you guys were on NT around 07-08 the stories that circled around this were funny. My OG heads that may be in here can vouch that. People that think Supreme actually paid 20 stacks for a variant of their own brand (a ******ed one at that), nah fam. I will say this, shortypop had a pretty good presence in the core audience..supreme targets. That recognition alone = $$$$
