I'm going to start classes for my licenses soon. Anyone on here selling insurance?

Got a few friends that do it,they aren't independent though they all work with an agency...Live and die by commissions, gotta be on that grind..

buddy worked for northwestern. they give you the resources and tools, but you got to find your own clients. always trying to sell me insurance
you got to be on your grind and network as much. ask people if they need insurance, ask them if they have a network, etc...anyone he came in contact with, he would ask and hand out a biz card.

Yeah I am good at that and know a lot of people many who own small businesses. I figure it's a small price for a nice investment to pay for the classes for the safety net I can make myself.

Everyone needs insurance. All you'd have to do is start out lowballing until you get the network to go high in prices and make more commission.

I know there are a few places like that. You don't get your full commission but the help you'd get in the beginning at least is worth it. I'm not trying to get rich off this. Just get more cash flow for the future.

Idk if I could handle the income fluctuations, one guy I know his income sometimes fluctuates a couple g's a week, but if you're just doing it for extra or to build up some cash it seems pretty good...

Yeah it will not be my "job" just something where I can make my own money on my own time.

My roommate did it for a few years when he was like 22. The only problem he had was being young and not knowing people they didn't want to trust him I guess.
