Came home to these this morning. Quality is amazin imo. S/O to the the fellow NT'er that looked out tho. Can't wait to throw em on feet.

They way they were doing raffles. They have the shoes at the counter and at the same time they reach in a box to call your name. You go up see what size they have left and request it. Not too bad. But dudes had their families up their with them, so 2 guys had their last name called like 3 times. Six pairs out of like 12, gone off rip. So dudes who needed their size lost out. Out of like the 4 left, 2,were my as, 11.5. And I was like one of the last to be called. So no real problem there. But the way they did it was strange. Dudes found the loophole and exploited it. One cat said the 11's release was to the point where dudes were gettin ready to fight. Even as military personnel, you'd think we'd show a little more restraint especially in a military venue. Apparently not. I'll just hit CL up a month or so after release, when cats can't get the price they were looking for.
 
Got these for a better price than what some dudes are trying to sell the latest retro

WACK! We have 3 spots on my base that gets roughly 18 pairs each. 1 spot does raffles. The other 2 that I go to always do FCFS. The store that does raffles usually gets pretty uncivilized

 Releases for me here are usually mad chill. Always the same cats lining up too

 No crowding, no fights, and no kind of hassles. I showed up at 0830 and they opened at 0900. Walked in and walked out

 If for some reason I strike out or they don't carry what's being released, I only mess with HoH off base since they the only store that honors our discount on new releases.

Nice pickup fam! Repped! Back in 07 when I copped my first whip, it came down to that cruiser or a tacoma. Went with the Tacoma. No regrets. Sometimes tho when I do see a cruiser drive by I do a double take

I know most weren't feeling this year's models, I was a fan.

Patience is key my brother, I appreciate the love fam. Usually 04's have bad heel drag, creased the eff up toe boxes, nappy suede, I was fortunate enough to find a pair with none of those qualities
 
A  few pick ups for late Jan and Feb so far.  I traded my 4Lab1's for the 99' Jordan Team J's locally.  They were my first Jordans back in late 99' so I was very happy to get em again in my size.  

Very rare that the wife likes Jordans but she loved these!!

Wife grabbed the bag for Valentines Day.

What base are you guys on? I've never been to a base that gets retros, much less one that has three spots.
