I got to drive one at my valet job, it's a sick looking car but he interior was kinda meh

My cousin owns one and ive driven it a couple times. Mercedes is my favorite but this car is terrible.

He cant wait to get rid of it too after his lease is over. Its so rough to drive and its not comfortable at all. The only good thing about it is the looks. The interior is okay. Something as simple as even when you close the door it sounds like a big *** sound. If you see any soccer moms in this or guys and such just laugh at them because they are feeling miserable driving that thing

Steering is terrible too. This truck is all around trash.

They drive like a tractor. I've only driven the older ones but :x couple that with old Mercedes interior and it's not nice to say the least.

Yeah the exterior>>>>>>>>> interior on anything before a 2010

especially for that price...

like many others said the ride is quite rough, not rough by Mercedes standards, rough as in safari truck rough...

its a decent car, its holding its value mostly due to styling & popularity and not the performance/reliability of the truck....

I really like this car and still do, but for the current market price....it aint worth it....you can get something more enjoyable for around 30k, I would def get a few other cars in its price range BEFORE I got a G IMO

If your planning on making the G your daily driver, test drive one first....if you can handle the rough ride go for it

I test drove a 2007 recently. Absurdly it was listed at 55K. Anyhow, that's been my dream whip for quite a while, and I was prepared to purchase, until actually driving the thing. It feels like you're driving a house. I no longer covet it, though it will always be a sexy beast.

I just don't think its worth it at that value unless you just have a ton of money coming in and 80 large isnt considered a significant investment.
