Official Nike KD VIII (8) Thread - "Easy Euro" OCTOBER 17th!!

Ids should be amazing on this shoe. I am hoping nikeid in china or eu throws them up early by mistake like they have with some releases before

Man the urge to proclaim the cheap sneaker as being great today is hilarious (I see the Kyrie fans). Same with Kobe and KD. When the shoes were cheap they got love.

An if one more person brings up KD wanting to keep his shoes cheap. Smh

You guys realize the point of him wanting cheap sneakers isn't so collectors who get 20-30 plus shoes a year can feast but for legit poor kids who may get a pair, 2 if they're lucky a year. The greed of the price complaint. It's so misguided. That's why the Trey Five exist. A cheaper KD alternative for those fans who can't afford the base models.

I grew up only being able to a get new pair of shoes every 2 years so i would be a size 11 wearing 9.5 or 10 and had to deal with till i was 12-13 and was able to do odd jobs to buy shoes. Thats why every Christmas i buy shoes for the less fortunate instead of myself because i know what its like. The price doesn't mean nothing to me because im in the position to buy what i want because i have a consistent cash flow though i focusing on getting my own place now instead of shoes. Maybe i personally think the kd trey are just better then the 8s. Same for the kyries. I think they been the best all around model this year. Kyries>>>kobes lebron and kds this year so far. Pricing is just a bonus but it doesn't matter. When a shoe is better its better but its my opinion not a fact. I say one more time. The kd trey are dope. Forget the 8s. This is no beef to you just expressing my thoughts

We all like different sneakers and that's cool. I just think people today base what's good off everything else except if the shoe is tight or not.

Price, availability or public perception should never factor in. Dudes dismiss a whole line before they see any CWs or have the shoe in hand. It's just weird to me. Most people hold the 4 in high regard. Why?

Seriously I don't see how that solid one piece rubber with a strap is better than anything. The construction of that shoe was beyond weak and cheap looking. If it wasn't for the cheap price and having the 2 most hyped CWs of the whole KD line, no one would like those as much. I haven't seen 1 person ask for more solid rubber shoes built like that. Shoe is light years behind the 8 from a technical standpoint.

My sentiments exactly regarding the KD4. I never understood the hype. The whole shoe looks like a poorly pieced plastic puzzle.

The line really took off with the 6, but even then, comfort-wise, it's lacking. Note: I can only speak on the 6 & 7 comfort. Both very aesthetically pleasing but mildly comfy (6) & barely tolerable (7).

These LOOK good. We'll see how comfy they are in due time.

Like i said its all opinions based. I think the kyries the best out imo. And you dont think so. Thats your opinion.

I love the 4s since they first emerged. Everything about that shoe felt and look great And they was comfortable to me both on and off the court which is not the case with other people but everyones different. I disgree with your opinion on the kd4s but i respect it

As far as writing off the 8s before having them in hand or seeing different cw. Sometimes you just know when a shoe is not for you. The base model kd8 is that kind of shoe. I may like the exts or elites thats why im still sticking around but i dont have high hopes.

Put it like this. The kobe X and kd8 are both $180. I think neither of them is worth that.

If both shoes were $100 i would take the kobes because they look good to me and 100 for them is about what im willing to pay. I wouldnt take the kds because they still are not worth 100 to me. I still wouldnt take them if they paid me to. I just dont like the shoe or at least the base model kd8.

kept scrolling up and down my twitter seeing this pic and it really didn't catch my attention to realize that these were sample kd id's until i finally read the descprition...smh! but that christmas looking pair in the middle looks decent...

Is he actually going to get to wear them this year? How is his rehab going, anyone know? I for one do not think that this is the shoe he will be wearing this upcoming season, not after the injury he suffered from. If he wears a shoe like this, one that is clearly experimental due to its new so called tech, then KD is crazy.

Opinions are funny, I think the KD 6's are horrible and the worst KD visually

Regardless of how I feel about these, I just hope these are a perfect compliment to a healthy KD and we get to see him this year at 100%
