For a player coming off of a foot injury, playing in such a shoe that does not provide that locked in feel, that supportive feel, really doesn't seem very wise. 

Someone even steps on a shoe like this while the foot is in there, kapoof.

I'd bet a mid cut shoe is coming in the near future, Steph Curry style. His shoe isn't lacking anywhere.
 
that sports authority price tag is very tempting for what seems like early on, one of the better colorways
 
Even for $117 I won't cop. V8s are my favorite colorway so far but the KD 8 is disappointing... 
 
I'm very happy with my pair of V8s. Sunsets and that grey pair up next.....didn't feel the USA & not feeling the suit pairs.

I am looking forward to seeing how the Away & N7 colorways look
 
At my Nike outlet yesterday and they're were 4 pairs of 4th of July kd 8 behind the checkout. I asked if they were for sale and they were. So I asked how much the lady said 120 I got super happy and asked if they had a 12 or 13 and sure enough 11 was the biggest smh
 
Because someone probably got them from NDC and returned them.

Maybe a reseller realized there wasn't money to be made or people didn't like them once they received them.

I do that sometimes for kicks I don't like. I returned my BTTF SB's at an outlet.
 
i think im going to jump on that sports authority deal, I just dont want to end up with 6 colorways of this shoe like I did the 7. I wonder if all the 8's will be $130 on SA

Nike outlets automatically discount items based on availability. If the stock is really high, they sell them for really low. if the stock is really low, they sell them under retail but alot closer. (Maybe 10-20 under the regular price).
 
Without seeing any data, just general feel, this shoe is off to about the worst start possible. Hardly anyone is excited about it. Pretty sad.
 
this sell out mentality i don't get it, do you think they're gonna stop making KDs bcuz his shoe sit a bit? i mean if that was the case then how did we ever get to 8 in the first place when the 4s is what caught 75% of the peoples attention. KDs ain't going anywhere, i mean they made a penny 6 and the penny 5s were found on deep clearance save for a few cws, idk about yall but i like when i can get my pairs on sale/clearance, less money spent on a pr, more money to spend on other prs

I feel like such a small minority that actually REALLY like this silhouette.. Not complaining though!
 
I just can't get over that weird heel sticking out.. makes the shoe look weird to me. I donno.. something is just not that appealing about it
 
I hope Nike takes this as a sign to stop bumping up the price on every shoe. At this rate KDs will be $200, Lebrons and Kobes $250, and Kyries $170 at the time of their next release. Silly.
