So, I have a friend who's 25 years old and finally looking for his first job.

I dont even...

What made him want to change his habits?
I don't know. My guess is that he finally realize that his ways are unacceptable. I was hanging out with him last weekend and he says so I'm finally looking for a job. I was like :wow:

Why would you hang out with this dude? He had nothing going for him.

I'm turning 25 soon, and I've been working since I was 15 now. I can't imagine what I would be doing if I wasn't working and being independent on my own. He takes money from his parents? Moms probably changes his sheets and does his laundry too right. :x

Are you asking about yourself? LOL And Taylor Swift sucks.  Her fake teeth is gross, just like Miley.  Veneer for the lost.

On the real though, you just have to take that first step.  And talk to your parents about wanting to change.  Stop being spoiled and just get out there.  As with anything, you have to work your way up.  Wasting those years doing nothing aside from buying penny foamposites is a bad thing.  And it's lucky your friends were able to give you a ride on the way back.

Is he strong when needed and sensitive when needed as well?
I don't know. I mean, he's a good friend and he's there for me when I need him, but what kinda job would that get him?

Depending on what he's willing to do won't be hard at all to get a job.

Some places prefer a person with little to no experience for certain jobs compared to someone with all types of experience. Even if he's 25. If he was 30 then probably no.

He can always lie about what he's been doing the past 7 years to make it look good.

It's not the end of the world for him, he's just going to have to understand that he is going to have to do some type of job that most people his age did when they were 16-18 and he's not going to get paid a grip starting out.  Like others have mentioned, bartending is one route to consider.  Manual labor, UPS, Fed-Ex, or something like that would be a start and would prob pay better than minimum wage.  It's not just about finding a job at this point, it's about him changing his lazy ways, otherwise he won't be able to keep said job.  What does he do M-F when all his friends are working?  If I work from home for more than 3-4 days in a row I start going stir crazy

If I'm ever unemployed it's definitely gojng to be not by choice

I was chillin after graduation last May my grandfather told me I wasn't a man because I didn't have a job..I was unemployed from May to July smh lol

OP put on his cape.

But Fereal, he can find any job at minimum wage. Without any work history. Now if he wants a legit job, nah.

the answer to this question is clear, I have a friend who was in the same situation and this what he did:

DRIVE FOR UBER

OR LYFT

OR SIDECAR

no experience required, just a clean background I believe and a valid license and decent car.
