The Official Kobe X iD thread

I have a dilemma in my head going on. When the MC option originally came out in October I ordered 2 pairs and one of those 2 pairs I was unhappy with the quality and complained to Nike, they offered to replace them but I decided to just return them partly because the quality and partly because the black medial is doodoo, as a courtesy they issued my refund immediately and sent me a return slip. It just occurred to me when I was sifting through all my x-mas gifts that I still haven't returned them. At this point it's been like 4 weeks. Part of me is like F Nike they've told me to kick rocks and deal with it  multiple times when I've had issues with them and if they don't come looking for them then I'm not giving them back. Has anyone had a situation like this before?

they'll come looking for it sooner or later.. or I'm sure somewhere in fine print, that they'll just charge you again since they have your account info anyway.. I would rather return the shoes and be done with it..

The tongue in the stock picture is Green Strike.  I may switch it to volt, but keep the green strike liner.

I hope they bring the volt midsole option back like they had when the EMs first released.

I was trying to figure out what to do with that tongue.. and I might just go with Volt.. thanks for the comparison pics.. I was thinking Univ Red would go good with it too.. I don't think the Grinch iD will sell out for a while honestly.. it's either you like green and red or you don't.. not much you can do with the cw..

I did the same pair (and have an essentially matching MC 2.0). And another where the only difference is I went with black translucent sole.

Kept everything simple for all 5 of mine (3 MC, 2 Mamba) - all have black tongue/liner/laces, black(3) or white(2) swooshes, gum (3), black translucent (1) and wolf grey(1) outsoles.

Very happy with all of them.

Yeah, you're probably right. Truthfully I don't even want the pair I just like the thought of being able to stick it to them for once instead of the other way around, although, like you said, they'd likely get the last laugh anways. Thanks for your input man I think I'll just return now and avoid the potential pain going forward.

with the 11 release coming up, hopefully we will have a few weeks to play with the options.

I went with bright crimson laces on the EMs and wasn't a fan of it.  Uni Red is definitely the choice for me.

If we don't get that volt midsole, I'll just throw some volt speckles on there

gotcha! def Univ Red.. also did br. Crimson on mambaColor and kinda too pink and not what I was going for..

I'm in for at least 2 pairs for the Grinch though.. not gonna veer away too much from the stock though..

Imagine if they brought the Green Strike option too for the midsoles... Damnit man it seems I've been waiting for the Grinch ID to drop over a month now lol... I was copping these regardless knowing I'm taking L's on that Yeezy madness.
 
Does anyone have any pics of Bright Crimson Laces & the regular Crimson laces in the og grinch's as comparisons???

Yeah, there has been no demand/hype for any of the X's minus the HTM's.

Unless Nike is doing just the day or a limited order window of X number of hours, or very low production number, should go like the MC 2.0 and MambaColor "QS"s.

I'll order the first day to be safe, but that's just me.
