Your argument is lame. You're trying to make it seem like you're more deserving of these shoes than others. Not the case.
People buy what they like. You know that 95% of people that buy basketball shoes don't wear them to play basketball in right?
Can you only buy Vans if you skate? Can you only buy boots if you hike? Can you only buy boat shoes if you sail?

I've played in my ID4s (smoked translucent outsole) and in my NiDs (solid red outsole) and haven't noticed a difference in performance, in respect to the outsoles. They both offer amazing traction and stick no matter what. Played on clean courts and ones that have obviously not been swept in a while and my feet stick almost too well, if I'm not careful.

One of the options in that link is the medial color. I just set it to white to simulate what I expected the other side of that shoe to look like in Nike's demo picture. I can set it to any color I want. Doesn't guarantee that this combination of colors will be available. Just showing you can start creating your own designs so you have an idea of what to order.
