The Official Kobe X iD thread

the problem is that they only have one color/style for the TPU cage, which is clear (or milky, ashy, frosted, whatever it is). the midsole cushioning itself is colored so the black midsole actually is black, it's just the TPU around it that lightens and makes it murky. :rolleyes

and the problem with that is with some time, we all know what happens to clear TPU/plastic...
 
I had a pair of the drill sergeants, and what really pissed me off was that the entire midsole was the murky color except for the part that went over the carbon fiber which was completely clear so the black looked decent. Not really sure why Nike didnt decide to use the on the entirety of the midsole.
 
Im going with the Pure Platinum MC with a white tongue if it is going to be available. Will they pure platinum and white have a closer color white shade? I have googled past nike releases with the pure platinum colorway and couldnt really tell if it has a darker/lighter shade of white.
 
i want the multi on the release details pic gonna be my design.  call me un-original but that green sole with multi color is insane.

Haha, nice you flipped the Sup 5s for these Kobe MC?  I'm saying they're releasing the rest of the Supreme X Jordan apparel this Thursday.  So it's going to hurt my wallet from all the stuff I'm going to buy along with the these Kobe IDs.

I did. I hate supreme and i love kobe so it was a win/win in my eyes.
 
So....5 dollars more and that puts people over the edge? Or is just the idea that they're charging more? I'm just going to stick with one pair - No imagination/silver swoosh, keep the fingers crossed that ebates is still at 10% for NDC and call it a day.
