Those for whatever reason appear to be darker than the IDs in person. The IDs look more like a dark grey.

Agreed. Not sure why would they put that outer midsole to alter the color, at least clarify what's going on like the do with the white glow in the dark option.

When you use the Mc option these look too much like last year's model, but not even close. IM slowly talking myself out of coppin, since I bought so many of them last year.

Nike playing with my emotions ....my cart had a sz 14 MC ID 9 from last year and I tried to checkout and they turned to X ...man seeing my wish list makes me sick knowing I missed out like 4 times last year while I was overseas.

The 9, specifically the Elite, will go down as one of Kobe's greatest shoes ever. Haha the 10 is a way for people to get something close to it (probably missed out back when they were ID-able).

I thought last years were $225 not $245, but to the point, a $5 increase isn't going to change the way I live but $250/tax/$270. 

I'm done spending $270 on sneakers like this. I think I'm turning in my dope sneaker card for some $100 runners from now on.

This kind of money for this kind of shoe regardless of my yearly income, has sent me over the edge once again.

I will admire from afar now.

I can buy some nice dress slacks, belt and socks for $270 or a nice pair of peccary

X MCs > 9 MCs for me just because the X is less bulky and has a better silhouette on feet , but thats just my opinion
