On another note, the gum sole looks so GOOD with the MCs (in the renderings).  I hope they look as good in real life.

I ordered at 6:55PM the night before the set release date and barely got my started email for 2/4 of my orders last night after I contacted Nike customer support to check on my order status earlier in the day. But on NDC, it still says "in progress"

Here comes the salt. I almost wish we weren't allowed to post about or post pics about the status of our ids. I get why we do but the salt levels are starting to rise lol.

I didn't really post that so others could taste the salt haha I was just very shocked considering Nike gave an estimated arrival at December 7th.

Also, PSA:
To all that are worried about not recieving an email, don't worry about it. Roughly 1/4 of my entire collection consists of NikeiD shoes. I have gotten plenty of shoes before the estimated date without receiving any sort of email explaining the status of the order. If you ordered on the release day, I'm sure you'll get them around when I do.

^This, same experience for me as well -- not saying the emails don't mean anything, but don't put too much weight on them as far as when your pairs will arrive

If it makes you all feel better (especially the ID newbies) here is how I envision the ID process:

1) Your ID order gets sent to China with a bar code that is linked with your email/order number

2) Workers print out your bar code and put it in a bin and then start placing materials.

3) At certain "stations" they can scan your printout to say that order is started, but some get scanned and some don't

4) Barcode printouts probably get shuffled around sometimes so first ordered are not necessarily first made. Also, if they are short on some materials, those probably get pushed back until they can replenish them.

5) The most important email is the shipment email...but sometimes you get started/almost finished/shipment email all within a day of each other. That might mean they just scanned your barcodes all at once.

6) For shipment, they probably need to fill a carton/crate to save on shipping, so that's why sometimes there are long periods of time between shipment email and delivery or sometimes the shipment sits in China for several days after shipment email. Also might explain why the shipments sometimes go directly to Nike's warehouse first.

Lastly...you ordered it and Nike gave you a 4-5 week delivery period...so why stress now? They will deliver on their word or make it right...this is Nike...that's why we pay huge retail mark-ups to them. Quality might not be great all the time, but customer service/return policy/warranty is.

I never worry about the ID status. I havent received status update on most of mines.

Same. I don't get why people get so antsy when others get a status update and they don't. If Nike acknowledges your order, you will get it...sooner or later.

The liner is holding up well.  I always were them with ankle socks, so the ankle area stay relatively clean.  I think you'll be good with the white liner.

Chill out people, it's just an email. Just cause you haven't received one doesn't mean it hasn't been started. I had 4 pairs of ID's when the X's first released, I only got 2 "started" emails, then randomly got the shipping email notification.

The we're almost done doesn't mean much, because they ship them in batches. You could see finishing for two or three weeks until they're ready to ship them with the shipment.

These updates though. and people panicking when they aren't even sold out. I guess you guys didn't order any of the IX's. For the mamba moments and second release it at least made sense.
