The Official Kobe X iD thread

Finally got my first pair. Felt like an eternity. I have to say I'm extremely happy with them. When I ordered I did not know you could change the color of the medial. And I rushed the order thinking they would sell out quickly. Mostly because I missed out on the 9s. Anywho...so they are a black based shoe with grey medial. Haven't seen many posted and I wasn't sure how it would come out but after seeing all the darker FK weave with black based pairs I'm glad I did it this way. The weave has quite a bit of volt and pink which really pops with the black midsole and translucent black outsole. I know blah blah blah lets see pics!

So here they are...

black lining, laces midsole with clear black sole. Grey dark grey tongue with GITD swoosh and speckles.

but I wanted to get all angles and some close ups of the FK. Only thing I sort of regret is the GITD speckles.

Some of y'all returning will probably have your shoes back at Nike and funds back in your accounts before I get my pair. Day 8 of shipping has my MC's in Anchorage, Alaska. That's right...China-->Japan-->Alaska. Just waiting...enjoying all the pics...

Repped.

Those came out Great. Like the Black Midsole. Looks good with the Grey Medial.

Feel you on the GITD specks. They look good on yours but they don't charge very well.

Just got my pair. If these were full MC, I'd like them much better than the 9's, but they're still pretty good in their own right. The low profile tongue on these is great. So much nicer than those huge tongues on the 9 lows. Went up half a size and they're still a bit snug, but should fit well after some wear. I would definitely buy again if they released another MC-type option. Just looks so nice on this sleek silhouette.

The uneven painted medial is bothering me so much. I went with black medial on all my pairs. I might just return them if they that doesn't blend well.
 
Not a fan of the X but there are some sweg pairs in here

White tongue is the ugliest imo

Are you going for poker tournaments?
 
Mine came in Tuesday but I haven't had the time to take some photos. I ordered the Purple QS flyknit soon as it was announced and they working on them already. Date moved up too. Going to return or sell the pair I got now and keep the purple ones most likely. Just not feeling it.. I was hoping they would be closer to the MC on the 9's or closer to the racer htm.That Chaos pair is Fresh though.
 
Just got Email from Nike.

Asym/MC delayed another 10 days.

Ordered within first 2 hours and now won't get the until 12/18

Sorry to hear that.

Their whole system is just messed up and nobody knows how they are handling the entire process.

Repped. One of the only Black Medials I like.

FK looks great and like the swoosh.

Midsole doesn't look as bad as some. Really flows with the shoe.

Toe Box is REALLY Vibrant.
