yall needa fall back for a minute and listen to music without a bias.......your knowledge of hip hop will expand beyond your imagination and you wont sound like a total groupie when having discussions about music such as 90% of NT'ers in this forum.

9 by Premo
1 by LES
1 by Just Blaze
1 by Kanye

^damn that's a awful wish list, but I wouldn't expect anything different coming from you, "now who knows poverty like Robert & me", lol........

Nas & Pete Rock 13 years later? The World Is Yours is a "classic" hip hop track, Nas said he tried to reach out to Pete, so he could produce a track on Stillmatic

plain and simple aint nobody tryin to hear that ...especially not from a rapper... if u wanna learn about africa read a book...

the people that usually "ain't trying to hear" from Nas are usually not intelligent enough to understand and use it as an excuse to hate on the brotha.

You should be mindful of everything going on in the world not just your hood, there would be no progression if everyone shared the same "me" mentality.

I dont think so, Nas will drop an average album like usual. I dont think he is capable anymore of dropping an album full of heat

I was going to say something, but TW3EK is going to dig his own grave on this one.

AG was pretty mediocure to me, so it can't be that hard to top it. Then again I didn't like Nas's last album much either, so I'm not expecting much from him either. Jay and Nas just need to hang it up, this ain't 96 anymore.

yupe its 2007 where Soulja Boy, Gorilla Zoe & Lil Boosie are the leaders of the new school, why hang it up when your still miles ahead of the younger talent. Ya'll cats kill me with the _____ should retire, Common, Ghostface, Devin The Dude, Az, Jay, Nas, Outkast all been in the game for 10+ years and still make better music than their younger counterparts but yet they should retire.

Only new mainstream rappers that shouldn't retire are Joell Ortiz, Lupe, Beanie Sigel, Saigon and maybe a handful more.... everyone else is trash.

I wonder why NaS never went back to those producers again.

Everybody always wanna turn somethin in to a serious argument tryin to make certain dude look a certain way, let them be

NaS is one of my fav artists and I kno the importance of his music but ppl aint one track like that. I dont need to be herin about Egypt in every song. You see you usually have 2 types of dudes, 1 the dude that likes when NaS spits that real issh about the hood, then 2 the dude that likes when NaS spits on a even more conscious level regarding the world specifically the struggle of black ppl namely Africans. Very few who dig both(like myself) and thats da truth, as backward as it sounds some dudes will like it when NaS is on his 2nd Childhood issh but suprisingly enough not like that Nazareth Savage issh. I mean not everybody wants to be taught thru music.

You neva come across a dude who minnd state is purple but dont F with them black zombie? N---er

^I definetly disagree with that statement, people just don't like his music in general, I just don't understand when people feel as if they are the voice of all peope, when they say "give the fans what they want"

As we know the music market isn't consciously favored. The escalation of the south destoyed hip hop, which narrowed the minds of listeners. Now, I can see Nas more as a hip hop rebel than an artist now days. I being a Hip Hop fan, I couldn't say "forget what nas is saying" when the integrity of hip hop is lost. Nas and others are retreiving that.

It will be the second best album of the year, trumped only by Graduation which has reached holy status. Kanye set the bar too high.
