Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

TOLD YAW!!!!!!!!! I WAS RIGHT!!!!!! THEY THE KETTLEMEN'S DID RETAIN SAUL AS THEIR LAWYER. THE HUSH MONEY THEY GAVE HIM IN THE DESERT WAS A RETAIN FEE DISGUISED AS THE KETTLEMEN'S EVEN SAID. AND ME. TECHNICALLY SAUL WAS THEIR LAWYER AS THEY STATED!!!

I BE QUOTING EACH ONE OF YAW WHO DOUBTED ME LATER TONIGHT OR TOMMOROW..

Your an idiot.

If Saul was the lawyer how did she fire another lawyer.

If Saul was their lawyer, why were they begging him to take the job after Saul reminded them of his past offer that was declined.

The "retainer" has always been hush money and a blackmail chip.

Probably think the Kettlemens are innocent because Mrs Kettlemen says so.

Nice wrap up to the Kettleman's story.

I actually did want to see Jimmy take this to trial though. Haven't seen them there except in the beginning with those sick corpse *******. I know this aint that type of show though. Saul's always been about doing the work so it doesn't even go to trial.

Great use of Mike. I hope the writer's know if they're just making this up in their own genius minds they're giving plenty of ppl real world ideas to do this stuff. If they just took it from real events then props to those criminals.

I can understand Jimmy having this crush and it leading to some simping here and there but I can really see his heart getting broken over this. I wouldn't have given the money back at all. I would've tried to win the case or w/e and go back to convincing her to be her own partner in the new law firm. Definite Walt scene when Jimmy gave up his dream there.

 :smh: @ Chuck

A thing I've been thinking of about the possibility of Gus showing up is there's already a huge in that doesn't have to depend on some unknown history with him and Saul. The clear link is how did Mike first start to be working for Gus and how did he gain respect or w/e you'd call it to even be open to it. We know it's money for his granddaughter he wants but the work he's did for Gus in BB before things got real serious leads me to believe there's a key story there in how it works. Since Mike also had his side thing with all those guys who were in prison that'd get paid off.
Seems like he goes back to the vet and the vet is the hook up to new work and that leads to gus IF they tie him in bcs.
What relationship dide saul and gus even have? He didnt even know gus until walt sold him his first batch.

I took it as he would start strapping rockets to his back and falling off cliffs unscathed. *shrugs*

Your suggestion seems much more reasonable.

Yeah he told walt he knew a guy who knows a guy type thing.
But youre right i completely forgot about nacho. But saul knows nacho through tuco. But tuco had no strings with gus? So he gets connects with him somewhere else

my impression is that gus was always tuco's connect.

thought gus was essentially the cartel's way into the us

so tuco, tio, nacho, all work for the cartel essentially, just on the american side

But theyre were from the mexican cartel that came up here for the mexican side as a "representives" cause gus was running things while leashed to them

^ Nah, that had me & my girl cracking up. She was like, "Awwww", right when I was like, " 'D you see that?"

That was too funny, and I think it was also setting the tone that ol' boy was in zero control of the situation. Dude was calling approximately no shots.

Gilligan is in my head man. The scene where Mike and the Philly cop are sitting on the bench, just talkin, the shot is seen from down the hall, facing them, and a secretary lookin gal walks passed them. I'm literally lookin at her, like, "who's that, what she want, what she wearin, when we gonna see her again, what did she mean for this scene....."? :smh:

As easy as it is to dismiss her, you don't have random people walk in front of the camera for no reason. And he's done this to me so many times with his full circle conclusions, I fully expect her to be some assassin that comes to take out Saul, only Mike saves his ***, and Gus hired her, and that's how Mike meets Gus, and Gus is angry with him, but offers him a job and Saul owes Mike again, and on and on until Walt comes to play.

I need help.

^You looking too far in to this man

Ppl work in the building she was just walking by. Vince aint never been THAT detailed.

Are you delusional?

She straight up told him he won't be their lawyer and dipped on him. They went back to him after being unsatisfied with the deal HHM presented them with. He was not retained as their lawyer.

The bribe only became a retainer because she's pretending they didn't steal the money.

Damn, bruh. I feel observant for noticing ol' boy get waved off when he wanted coffee, and you've got a whole new show for some chick's bit part on a brand new spin-off series. 0_o
