And Jimmy was the one who took care of him and got Chuck back on his feet. Unreal.

Best episode of the season so far. From Mike's good criminal/bad cop speech to Odenkirk's acting in the final scene, this episode was 10/10.

i kept waiting for chuck to say "jimmy, you were adopted"

i see no reason why chuck at his age doesnt just cash out anyway, like regardless of shutting down the firm

Wow...

- Mike is a boss, period.

-This came to mind during the meeting

-The entire time we thought Hamlin was the bad guy but it was his own damn brother. When Hamlin kept reiterating "My partners and I," he was in actuality telling the truth about the partner(s) i.e., Chuck. :smh:

You could tell it was all Chuck from the moment Howard dropped the news on Jimmy in the conference room. Chuck was doing a terrible job at acting surprised/upset.

Jimmy should have gave Chuck a kiss, word to

And then have employees from the mental institution appear and take him away.

It's also interesting that throughout the premise of the show, Chuck was shown to be the morally "good" and inspiring postiive influence on Jimmy. As it turns out, he's single-handedly the original impetus behind his brother's transformation.

Son this ep :smh:

This is that real emotional family **** that'll pull at ya. A brother that never really believed in his little brother. Deep down feeling that he'll never changed. It's a powerful heartbreaking argument that Chuck gave Jimmy that makes you understand how he could transform in to Saul and that since nobody supports him or if his own fam won't believe in him he might as well be what they think he is.

I was racking my brain with the why of it all. I was like how could you screw Jimmy over on something like this Hamlin? That he was willing to play the bad guy this entire time is crazy. He played it so well. When he called Kim in was when it clicked for me and I was like it must be Chuck blocking him this whole time :smh:  I wass till ignoring him making a phone call though but I just looked at the options and it had to be Chuck. Makes no sense otherwise. That Chuck would even orchestrate that bull is messed up.

Of course now I've completely ditched my idea that Chuck has to die. He's effectively cut all ties himself. Now I wouldn't mind if he died since he's such a cold blooded bastard but I don't see him having to die in anyway to move things along.

Only thing left is how Jimmy severs ties with Kim.

Oh and if there's one thing great about a BB spinoff is more Mike monologues. That whole do your homework, good criminal, bad criminal, honorable thief speech was brilliant.

Damn chuck is cold. how can you watch your brother struggle like that and not even lend a hand even as he's taking care of you. And wouldn't Jimmy working under his guidance at his firm be more likely to keep him in check than if he were to continue to grind and possibly get even more desperate as a lawyer? I guess that's how the writers wanted to show how Jimmy became Saul tho.

I'm really enjoying this show, but it's tough seeing Saul continually being disappointed. I think Vince Gilligan said that he wouldn't be averse to showing post-Breaking bad scenes in the timeline of this show so I hope in the end, present-day Saul at least ends with something positive, instead of working a cinnabun watching clips of the past, though if I had to guess that won't happen.

Maybe my memory on Saul's role in BB is hazy but why do we assume Kim's completely out of the picture? Did we ever get into Saul's personal life like that?

Finally, a real episode. This joint was good. Chuck a ***** *** dude bruh. I would wash son if I ever saw him at cvs. **** was foul af. Such a foul situation.

Is this the parking garage where Walt tried to kill Gus or am I tripping :nerd:

Yup.

Great episode..Man Chuck...How could you do that to your own flesh and blood!? That kills me man..Seems like with this deal, everyone is forgetting about who brought this deal to the table. Can't even let me boy get in on a piece of the action :smh: He's better off with out those snakes.

Man I knew Chuck was never really proud of Jimmy ever since he passed the bar...when he handed him the letter his reaction was just awkward...but I definitely didn't see this coming

How you gonna do your own brother like that, especially after Jimmy is doing everything possible to make Chuck comfortable and working his butt off to be a legit lawyer and trying to do the right thing.. :smh:

Great episode tho

Mike :smokin "the caviar of the south"

Can't wait for the finale.
