This was a nice ep.

Not a lot happened but I liked the focus on Mike. The Twins showing up was a nice touch to force him.

Mike is such a man of his word giving Nacho 25k. Had some balls to ask for 50 in the first place. I thought it'd just be 10

 @ Howard's face as he and Kim walked through the offices and just his stare off in to space towards nothing specific. He just had this weird no expression face on the entire time, completely ignoring Kim, and then 3 seconds from the door puts on a smile. It was like he was prepping the entire time for the clients.

Not sure what Kim's struggling with. Do what you think is best for you and makes you happy. Whether that's the new job or staying at HHM. Howard seems to not care for her much but she isn't sure so it's like is there a payoff for all of her hard work or not?

Can someone remind me
What ended up happening to nacho in breaking bad
Like I don't remember if he got killed
Got locked up
Or ran

Nacho never showed up in BB.

I imagine he'll either die or be imprisoned for a long time on this show.

Jimmy probably will end up defending Mike when he takes the gun charge and gets him off..Nacho remembers him from the Kettleman situation and they begin to work...maybe not exactly that but he definitely becomes Saul because of this situation Mike's gotten himself into

So my girl had never seen BB, so we started watching a few weeks ago. Just beginning S3 now, and it is a trip watching Saul as a pro on BB, and just learning to be a 'criminal lawyer' on BCS.

Vince, man.

Genius. And like we've pointed out, the attention to details is wild impressive.

I wish I could go back to when I had never seen BB. You're a lucky man. Cherish the moments you have. You'll never get that feeling back again

Man, when I seen the Twins just standin up there........ :smh: I was so damn hype. The imagery alone of those two that Vince and Co have used, them crawlin thru the desert, draggin the ax, sitting at the restaurant but not speaking, now just standing up on some building, absolutely perfect usage of them. Powerful, without them actually flexing, unlike Tuco. You KNOW when you see them, this is bad.

Loved the scene with boss from the other company and Kim. The convo in the hallway, where he tells her of course she won't win, but she fought tooth and nail and repped herself well. So clever how lawyers already know who's winning or losing, it's all just details, but you can still impress someone with HOW you fight. Very cool aspect.

Clearly they came up with Kim after the fact, so there is no mention of her in Breaking Bad, but how are they going to take her away, in a manner that Saul wouldn't ever bring her up, or reach out to her, or think about her, etc? Kill her? Move her away? Fight/breakup? Because Jimmy would do anything for this woman, including calling her machine and singing to her all the time even tho she won't answer or respond. When she does call, he's there, no questions asked. That doesn't just go away. There has to be a legit, and final type exit between now and where we pick him up in Breaking.

Mike entering his house knowing they were waiting for him. :pimp:

Tio's negotiating ability. :pimp: He saw the realness in Mike, and gave the money without worry. I swear, Vince could spin off half a dozen characters and I'd be in. Tio, the Twins, Gus, Hank, Saul, Mike, etc.

Speaking of, I know Hank comin at some point. He has to.

Chuck walkin thru that hallway to the conference room.   What a dildo.

Yessssss the part when mike lifts up his welcome mat and sees the footprints of the two guys. Knew the welcome mat was going to play a hand when it was brought upon us early in the episode.

They rarely ever got that personal with Saul on BB anyway but besides for the transformation in to Saul I've been theorizing Kim and/or Chuck dies by the end of this show.

Jimmy has no more ties keeping him from being completely crooked.

Actually, are there any date clues in all of BB that tell us where we were at with that show? And same question for BCS. Like I just mentioned, I'm starting season 3 of a rewatch of BB, so I'll try to pay attention to anyone mentioning who the president is, or new phones or, you know, whatever.

Speaking of, I know Hank comin at some point. He has to.
Honestly, I don't think Hank's show would have longevity. I think the twins, Tio, and Definitely Gus would be interesting enough to hold water. Mike and Saul already have a show, THIS show.

They already have a name for a Gus show: 'Los Pollos Hermanos'.

Twins? 'Double Homicide' :nerd:
Chuck walkin thru that hallway to the conference room.   What a dildo.
You mean Howard? Walking with Kim? Scene was epic. All poker faced and quiet until the conference room, then "It's showtime", just like Saul.

I feel like BB occurred in the time it aired. So BCS did happen years before but not in the 90s.

I swear somebody had it confirmed that this show was happening in like 2005/2006.

BCS takes place in 2002. BB takes place in 2008-2010. (Specifically, 9/07/08 to 9/07/10.)
This would be consistent, however, with a statement made by Vince Gilligan that Better Call Saul takes place "in 2002, 6 years before Saul meets Walter White."
Man, y'all didn't know the dates?

Multiple proofs as well. Also, the check I posted last page was dated 08/02/2002, so the last episode took place August 2nd of 2002. Flashbacks have taken us back to 1992 (Slippin' Jimmy, Marco flashbacks).
