I didn't necessarily think it was a lie. I'm just very wary of assuming things I didn't see. Call it being burned by shows like LOST and TWD so much. "Oh shhhhhhh, so and so is dead?! 

 " (so and so turns up 2 episodes later, then I realize I never actually saw the body when I thought so and so was dead 

)

I trust what I see.

I didn't see him steal $14k from pops, I'm not locking it in that it happened.

And I still haven't seen hims teal $14k. Just saying.
