Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

Take the money and start your career Saul.

Youre ok with doing all the work and letting somebody else come in and take all the credit for it ?

Doing what work? He found/started the case, but the WORK hasn't even begun. That's why they went to HHM in the first place.

Cashing out, for 20K + 20% back end, on a 20+ million dollar lawsuit, he's lookin at a couple hundred grand lowball settlement wise. And he doesn't lift another finger.

**** yeah I would cash that out.

Mike- Are you still in touch with your people?

Vet- Depends on what type of work you are looking for.

Mike- You tell me what you got, I'll tell you what I'll do.

It's not just about the money. This was Jimmy's true chance at really becoming the lawyer he's worked so hard to be. Sometimes pride and recognition > money.

Hey someone stoped the recording. What happened after gene let home girl in? Is the reason why Saul doesn't have a job because of chuck? The way he acted and that secret call leads me to believe it

Just watched the episode, and wow. The ending left me speechless. You finally see your own brother making something of himself, all while helping you with your ******** condition, and thats how you do him? Thats foul as all hell, I should have seen this coming when I saw Chuck's reaction to the news that Jimmy passed the Bar

The acting in this past episode was freaking incredible, this is one of the few times i have legit been upset at a tv show.

Looks like Jimmy gives up the case in the next episode(although it could be a curve ball). After helping Kim get that Kettleman case, helping Chuck not get put in a mental institution and taking all that BS from Howard, it pisses me off that this is how its going down. They cant let my dude Jimmy win?

Just looking back over the posts this last week.

The opinions, who said or thought this or that would happen.

The thoughts on how the San Piper Case would be lost/stolen.( it was given away).

Funny who said what, why they said it, why they thought it.

What really happened.
I find it interesting and telling, and pretty cool

Man Chuck makes Jimmy take care of his lunatic *** all this time and then he goes and stabs him in the back like that. **** that guy, kill him

I thought Chuck was acting funny the day Jimmy told him he passed the exam. Asked him if he was proud and you could see it wasn't genuine joy.

Remember how he took the bribe money and used it to kickstart his career? That's exactly what he can do here.

real freakin talk. everybody moms was praising chuck last week. he was that dude. about to get that guap. but. dude is a rattlesnake with his tail cut off...even more dangerous...still a snake...but now you dont even hear him coming. So then is the anger and disdain for Howard misplaced? And he was just trying to do right by Chuck so Chuck wouldn't sink the company? Chuck probably used the ' or I'll quit' card already in telling Howard not to hire Jimmy under any circumstance.

Why are dudes so mad at Chuck he's right about Jimmy we all know it he hit the nail on the head

Regardless of the bs classes he took, to be consider a lawyer, you still have to take a REAL bar exam. That actually says more to his achievement if his classes were in fact throwaway classes, since he may not have learned all that he would encounter on the test, and the bar exam has no ***** given. It was a spit in the face to go through all that work and be told it doesnt mean **** because I'm quote/unquote not as dedicated as you. How about this, you gave your life to this, and I just got into it a couple yrs ago and oh look, we're in the same place today, who's really winning? Chuck trying to make a lawyer out to be some gift from above. Some transcendent being or some ****. If someone puts the work in and pasts the test, court recognizes them as a lawyer, thats all that matter. chuck can duck a sick.

I already hated Chuck before this episode; I found him irritating. You know how there are certain people where merely loooking at them makes you mad? Chuck is one of those guys for me.. merely looking at his face and mannerisms makes me mad. So this episode just made me hate him even more

He ended up giving it back in essence of the moral thing which was for the kettlemans to go with hhm and Kim. This shot was his hopes of finally making it and doing it correctly in the right way.

But it looks like that's what will happen. He'll take the deal next week which will possibly jump start the Saul we know today

I'm talking about Jimmy willing to do illegal things if need be why would chuck or any ethical lawyer want to work alongside him .. I don't like chuck either but that's not why and Jimmy is extra weak for wanting to be a part of hhm
