Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

You would think by now Jimmy would realize the law comes before everything for Chuck. Well maybe I shouldn't say the law, moreso everything comes before Jimmy.

No such things as cease fires in this beef. He has to learn that.

He's trying to get at his brother and hides behind the law to do so. Everyone has noticed at this point; Kim, Ernie, even Howard.

I knew he was recording Jimmy

The ending got me mad

Jimmy was home free and got caught up again

As soon as he went in the room with all the old electronics you knew dude was getting something..

Especially the stuff he did to get jimmy out of the house and checking to make sure he was gone

I thought Hank and gomie were supposed to be in the finale? Also was that Hank's wife as the radiology tech when Chuck got his scan?

Still seems like Jimmy has nothing to worry about. There's no evidence. Tapes been deleted. All the loose ends are on Jimmy's side. If anything this pushes Chuck over the edge since he's going to lose and he's bringing more attention to his Mesa Verde 'mistake'.

Jimmy shoulda had him committed. Taken Chuck's share of his company and cashed out.

I bet yall this all boils down to some high school petty shhhhhhhhh..

Like Chuck being a nerd and probably getting picked on.. And. No girls

Jimmy the class clown, gets tons of girls and always gets away with shhhh.. Mom was always like 'that's just jimmy' any time Chuck tried to tattle

Chuck could just never let go of that time of his life

Someone name me a bigger hatter in all of tv then Chuck.

I don't know if he qualifies but this guy is up there. I'm putting him and Chuck in their own category.

I haven't disliked a character so much since this guy, I didn't think it would ever happen

mad as hell that jimmy let up, and let his brother beat him at his own game.

what was the significance of the opening scene in the hospital?

Just watched the finale.

DAWG....Chuck has me seething over here.

How can one man be the purveyor of so much **** ****??? Legit haven't hated a TV character like this. Ever. Dude has ZERO redeeming qualities.

Chuck the ultimate hater ...can't even see his own brother flourish , he rather die trying to prove jimmy ain't **** :smh:

Because I was late to the game and binge watched BB after the series was over, I never had to experience what it was like to have a season end on a cliffhanger and wait a year to see what happened next. Now I know the feeling from BCS

Oh yea, while I despise Chuck, Michael McKean is an awesome actor. That scene in the emergency room is one of the best in the series so far, it genuinely made me feel bad for the F-boy for about 10 seconds.

Agree 100%

I said to myself (and posted in here) that I'm not falling for this; not about to start feeling bad for Chuck. But when he goes "You're killing me" I was like damn, maybe he deserves the compassion. But **** that, he's a slime towards Jimmy. I really don't think Jimmy behaves against Chuck with the same ill intent that Chuck does to him.

Same here man. I binged BB on Netflix in about a months time. My gf was a watcher from the start, and she always said how tough it was to have a wait even a week in between. When it came to season finales, that year long wait was SO killer.

Like, when Hank was on the toilet and finally realized that it was Walter who was behind everything, IIRC that was a season finale. Bruh, if I had to wait a year to see what happens next....

Scott Templeton from The Wire.

Long story short, guy was a reporter for the newspaper and he lied and made up stories. Partly due to jealously because other, more talented writers were getting the good assignments. Another part was him just flat out not being good enough at his job. And lastly, part of it was entitlement. The bosses loved him and he got himself a Pulitzer based on these lies.

That's all I'll say just in case somebody decides to watch or is already watching. But dude was just a real douche bag, always whining and complaining. Never thought I'd see the day where he'd be unseated as the biggest lame in television history, in my mind

There was this cool shot, I forget when, either when Jimmy brought Chuck home or when Chuck got Jimmy to confess where they're next to each other and the camera pans out to focus on the baby picture in Chuck's house for what I can only assume is baby Chuck and baby Jimmy. Poignant shot whether it was the confessions scene or when Jimmy brought back Chuck from the hospital.

Vince and co. :smokin

Seems some of yall confused me believing Chuck's story about Jimmy stealing from his father (which I still think happened) for me siding with Chuck.

I've never sided with Chuck. I've just accepted he's gonna be the bad guy for the foreseeable future given the lack of a real villain for Jimmy to face off against cuz he's not a criminal lawyer yet. Writers are doing extra to flesh Chuck out and show what kind of bad guy he is and why. He's a douche but to me the answer is to just ditch him. This is why I say in some instances Jimmy is indirectly doing this stuff to Chuck. Walt was out here running in to obstacles on his rise to the top. Jimmy is just stuck. I knew the deal with Chuck back when he revealed he never supported Jimmy.

A lot of yall are just letting Chuck fester like an infected wound, getting on your nerves every ep with some foul way he tries to target Jimmy. I'm just enjoying it for what it is for now.

Only thing is as things are now, nothing about Jimmy's journey has me rooting for him a whole lot the way I was rooting for Walt. I currently don't know where he's going. I had arguments easily defending everything Walt did. To me Jimmy is wasting his time simping over Kim and even being around Chuck. Jimmy is too soft right now. I know where he ends up it's just about how. If anything I'm happy Mike's journey is half the show now cuz there's no way just Jimmy could be as compelling.

Just saw the finale and I can't wait for season 3

I wonder who left that note for Mike?

My dislike for Chuck has grown stronger. Geez, what a scumbag.

There's no coming back for Saul once Kim finds out about that confession tape.

I knew Chuck reminded me of someone.... Donald sterling, both are p.o.s. and both were involved with secretly recorded conversations.

Kim already knew Jimmy was behind it, she just faked not believing Chuck for legal reasons.

And I agree, that hank on the toilet scene was a cruel cliff-hanger.
