Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

@Mark Antony not sure which part confused you.

I don't like Chuck's character. Mainly because of his ridiculous "Illness". That doesn't mean I'm gonna be on Jimmy's side when he's being a snake. Chuck finally beat him at his own game. I can't be mad at him for that.

I still want his character gone, tho. Not because he "screwed" Jimmy. Just because I hate the character.

Agreed. I do not care how good this dude acts out the part...I just want him off the damn show. He annoys the **** out of me and him and Kim are the main reasons why this show isn't what it should be right now.

For everything Chuck did to Jimmy, he kinda had it coming.

What I don't understand, is if Chuck wants to bury Jimmy, why did he take him out of Jail in the first place?

Because he tries to hide his resentment from Jimmy. He works behind the scenes to sabotage him. Leaving him in jail would expose Chuck.

Well that was years ago. Different circumstances. Pre-"illness"

The way Chuck wanted to "bury" Jimmy was to make it so even though he has a license to practice law that he'd be largely insignificant dealing with old ppl and their wills. If Chuck had it his way, Jimmy would still be in the mail room.

Now things are different so now he's going extra hard cuz Jimmy is still the same questionable guy practicing the law.

Here's the thing. Jimmy and Chuck obviously both do scumbag things. The difference for me comes in the fact that Jimmy does scumbag things, but we know that in his heart he has good intentions. Chuck on the other hand, does scumbag things in hopes of ruining other people's lives and making Jimmy appear worthless to everyone else. So when Jimmy does the things he does, I'm rooting for him because he's trying to help himself and his friends succeed. Does that make it right? No, not at all. But if I have to choose between rooting for a ****boy and rooting for a man tryna help his squad, Ima choose the latter every single time.

yikes. chuck just put on the performance of his career last episode and kim is fantastic as well. both are integral components of jimmy's transition to saul.

better of rewatching breaking bad if you want breaking bad v2.0

So far the scumbag things to ruin a life done by Chuck has only been done to Jimmy. Nobody else.

He doesn't care about collateral damage but even then he hasn't ruined a life in that way.

If Jimmy wasn't such a simp maybe I'd see it your way as far him trying to "help his squad".

Jimmy been letting Kim have to much influence on him.
He's a simp.

It's not even influence. She aint say or do anything to make him feel like she'd leave him if she lost Mesa Verde or she's mad with him cuz of Chuck. He's doing this cuz he's in love with her and really don't got much else to do.

What bothers me is the fact everyone is feeding Chuck's delusions about electromagnetic energy. Studies about self-proclaimed EHS (electromagnetic hypersensitivity) patients have shown that they can not differentiate between real exposure and non-exposure.
They're as likely to report symptoms from a fake exposure than a real exposure.

Everyone on the show acts around Chuck like this electromagnetic hypersensitivity is real and aren't helping him seek mental help. They're just making his condition worse.

 Nah. They all know it's a lie and in Chuck's head.

Howard, Kim, Ernesto, the doctor, Jimmy, etc. It's just that Chuck is stubborn and he's still important to HHM.

They had that whole scene when he was in the hospital the first time that he doesn't know when he's exposed or not. Jimmy and the doc know for sure it's in his head. Chuck wouldn't know if Jimmy didn't put his phone in the mailbox unless it rang.

I do agree appeasing him and pretending it's real isn't good for Chuck at all.

Yeah I meant to say they act and treat Chuck as if they believe it's real. That's not good for Chuck at all because his symptoms are psychosomatic. His mental state affects his physical symptoms and the last thing anyone should be doing is appeasing him.

just caught up and finished the second season

things definitely picked up

squat cobbler
when they introduced...hector salamanca :nerd:
had a feeling chuck had something up his sleeves

I'm gonna have to watch Season 2 all over again, I forgot most of what happened
"Jimmy comes clean to Chuck about forging his Mesa Verde documents after the latter decides to quit his job at HHM. The twist comes at the very end of the episode when we realise Chuck had recorded Jimmy's entire confession"

"The final hour also finds contract-killer-in-the-making Mike going into the desert to take down Hector Salamanca but failing to get a clean shot. Mike then hears a loud noise coming from his own car, finds that someone has jammed a tree branch into the horn and left an ominous note on his windshield saying, "Don't"."

Man when does season 3 start?
"According to a report in Bustle, the show may return with its 3rd season sometime in February 2017. The speculation is based on the fact that the show premieres its first season with back-to-back episodes on 8 and 9 February 2015 and continued its 10-episode run for Mondays. The show's second season premiered on 15 February 2016, which falls on a Monday. Given the data, the show is most certain to premiere in between 6 February 2017 (Monday) or 3 February (Monday) 2017.

However, this is just speculation and AMC is yet to announce the official premiere date for Better Call Saul season 3."

What?! I'm thinking it's about to come in any day now. They're wilding for making us wait that long. Glad I binged bb. There's a thin line between suspense and loss of interest.
