I feel like Chuck is there to hold Jimmy back from becoming Saul. Part of the reason he's so hesitant to go back to that life is because he'll have to explain himself to Chuck. Before he went into the apartment, he was thinking of excuses to give for the stunt. "Showmanship" He knew Chuck wouldn't buy it so he left the paper behind instead.

Think after this Chuck'll side with the big lawyer corp and have Jimmy turn full goon. Or he'll die and that'll be the straw that makes Saul give no damns.

He did usually wear the yellow shirt

But I think it's a coincidence and people are reaching

After every detail these guys go thru, you know there is no coincidence. You know that. We've seen so many clues and hints in their shows, they leave nothin to coincidence.

I think he's on to something, except the nail shop never burns down because we see it later, and purple is just as much blue as it is red.

Best thing about this show is the relationship between Kim and Jimmy.

I love her character.

Interested to see why she wasn't around during BBs timeline or maybe she was

she grew on me. they probably had a divorce. I think Saul mentioned he was married multiple times in Breaking Bad, he could of lied to keep his scumbag background. Maybe Jimmy McGill was married to her or he fell in love. Im intrigue

I think he owes it to his brother to be a straight lawyer who helps people. His brother got him own of trouble and Jimmy probably slip up scamming someone, so he trying  to pay his deed and live up to his brothers expectations. But what we are seeing is the internal struggle of a man that can't change who he is.

Ok, I like the idea of that theory, but isn't the salon still viable when Walt comes into the picture?

Or was it burnt to the ground, and rebuilt?

I do not remember if Saul recommends Walt to launder his money through the nail salon but he surely mentions it to Jesse.

Also, if I remember correctly the salon was decorated differently in BB than in BCS. Correct me if that is false. So maybe it gets rebuilt after a fire.

fire and ice theory for the show

very cool theory. the nacho and tuco scene is kind of a stretch though. if you recall, nacho wasn't being the voice of reason. he wanted to keep saul alive so he could get that $1.5 million from the kettlemans. I agreed he isn't as "Bad" as Tuco in that scene but to say that Nacho (Tuco Salamancas right hand man, who is out in the desert with three men in blindfolds) is "no criminal" is probably not the best choice of words.

I can't remember, but did they explain the flashback when Saul is in jail? Is it because they found out he took the money?
