Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

Chucks crazy.

Better Call Saul is like Breaking Bad in that it maximizes its minutes.

30 minutes into the show and I feel like I'm gaining more than two episodes of The Walking Dead.

Not saying much. This whole new season of The Walking Dead could've been condensed into one episode. TWD is terrible now.

After season 2 the show has been on a steady decline.

I don't even know why I tune in anymore.

Yeah, this episode was definitely the worst of the season. Luckily, it looks like next weeks episode is going to be good.

....is that his daughter? The woman that Mike was watching had a PA inspection or plates on her car.

Man, that was such a damn filler episode til the last two minutes. Basically two filler episodes in a row. The preview for the next episode looks like **** is about to get real again finally.

I honestly just want Chuck and his story gone from the show. I do not give one single **** about him or his old boss. It offers nothing to me or this show.

I think that's his daughter-in-law, I thought they mentioned his son being a cop that was killed in the line of duty (during the preview for next week).

Good call on this being a filler episode, but next week is going to be :pimp:. More Mike is a win.

I just feel like they're trying way too hard to feature two characters that nobody really gives a **** about (Chuck and his old business partner). If they never appeared in a single other episode nobody would complain.

Well you kind of need an existing storyline when we start the show... so when the show opens, Jimmy is dealing with his brother and his condition. So it's just meant to immediately give you something to watch and push the story and show forward. It might not be the most interesting, but I see why it's there.

You need another storyline/plot... because you need to shift away from Jimmy trying to start up his law firm at some point for pacing and structure. So being able to have the B-Story be Chuck and his condition gives you that break.

Might not be as interesting as they hoped, but I'll see where it goes.

 at the million dollars worth of toilet paper.

 at that creepy *** toilet.

 the jello cups.

This episode was hilarious, plot moving or not.

"That's my will writing hand."
