Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

it's 2015 and people still don't have DVR?

I honestly have no need for dvr.

Not worth the extra charge when you get on demand for free.

Plus the only tv I watch is adult swim and sports. No need to dvr that ish when you have netflix.

Could simply just be that's the hospital they use for hospital scenes

I mean, how many hospitals can there be in that one town? At some point, of course they going to see the same place, aren't they?

I don't how small your city is.

There is always more then 1 hospital.

If you go back and look at some of the shots and how they are standing, I think it's a clear easter egg.

I'm not a big easter egg reacher either.

The tiles have been linked to the BB periodic table symbol as well as other little things in BB.

His **** chess not checkers.
Why would they waste money renting out multiple hospitals to do scenes when they can just use the same one?

I'm not even going with the small city route.

You're filming in the same damn area. Use the closest cheapest hospital available. Hell if they want turn some abandoned type place in to one.

Yall dudes reaching extra hard for clues that'll mean nothing.

I mean, Vince Gilligan mentioned that it was the same hospital in the podcast. Also mentioned he used someone who played a small role as a doctor or nurse (can't remember which) in BB for this episode of Saul.

Not that it's some huge hint or conspiracy...just think its a cool connection. Continuity in the universe is pretty cool. It doesn't have to be some giant mind-blowing easter egg to appreciate it.

Would've been hilarious if the toilet had the voice of a woman and saul walked out disgusted, but turned around and bought it with the other guys fake money. Would've eliminated the homophobic comedic undertones, which kept the storyline a bit more serious tho.

Not my favorite episode, but there were interesting tidbits.

Just caught the episode. Not filler at all.

The show has heart and jokes... and this episode had a lot of that. I'm watching most of the episode with a big *** smile on my face

It's possible Chuck turns out to be a filler story/character but I'm not upset at the time they've been giving him

During the cool down time after an argument, I cringe every time my phone vibrates.

Just went thru this. Once my phone vibrates and I see the name or number pop up, I always take a deep breath and say not this b*** again lol.

Proceed to not read wall of text.

Maaaaaaan this damn cliffhanger got me ready to freeze myself for a week to pass the time.

Really enjoyed the episode. Interested in seeing what happens to Chucks portion of the law firm

There's obviously going to be some major beef between Saul and Chucks old partner. I'm pretty sure he manipulated Saul into committing Chuck.

:pimp:

HAHAHA dialing the number on Sauls billboard will give you the answering machine where he's using his fake british accent

new mexico number and everything

^^ yeah I know what you mean. It's like the dude with the fake money. He definitely is loaded and might come back later to finance something.

Nah Hamlin doesn't want Chuck committed because he still has a stake in the law firm.

In Uno, the first episode, after Jimmy got that check from HHM he went up there and basically told Hamlin he needed to cash Chuck out the $17 mil for his share instead of sending those petty checks. Hamlin declined, said Chuck was on "extended sabbatical" and that he believed he was gonna return to work soon.

If Chuck was to get committed, Jimmy could then demand he be bought it out from the firm as his legal guardian.

We all know Jimmy has questionable morals but up until this point he hasn't shown any willingness to sell his brother out for the money.

reminded me of this:

Saul was bluffing when he said he was going to commit Chuck. He just wanted to make Hamlin nervous. Although he did open the possibility of committing Chuck and having Saul be his "guardian" and make the decision to cash out his stake in the firm. Could happen in the future. As of now, Saul still respects his brother too much to tell him he's crazy, that he's going to have him committed and make a decision he's completely against. Cashing out would destroy the company Chuck built.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it or not but there were roofs of houses in this episode that were blue and red. Goes with that whole fire and ice theory.
