Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

I'm personally a fan of the slow burn. It's going to make the big reveal so much better. I really want to know what was the defining event that turned him into Saul Goodman. The writers couldn't have simply just come out and go "hey here's Saul." You have to build towards that and develop the character to fully understand and come to terms with the transformation.

This

They want you to invest into the characters.

BB started off slow and most of its viewers didn't start at day one. AMC wasn't even considered. Netflix brought majority of its fan base. Walking Dead did help by putting AMC on the map, which allowed BB to gain additional viewership

lets not even get STARTED on the walking dead man. last sundays episode? SHEESH! im surprised ive never seen a thread on it. but yes, everything you've typed is correct

Idk I think the "slowness" of BCS is a little overblown. I feel like a lot happens every single episode that either moves the story forward or gives us more insight into Saul. Definitely not action packed nor does it have the intensity of BB but I would never say it's boring or that nothing happened (like Walking Dead  )

BCS isn't slow... People are just mad Walt/Jessie/Gus/pink teddy bear haven't made a cameo... I mean, they put Mike's entire back story into a single episode...

Like the show so far. Shows have kinda slowed down nowadays to really develop characters. BCS is headed in the right direction will continue to watch.

Mike Ehrmantraut sometimes has me thinking I should learn all this crafty stuff like picking locks, learning to shoot (I dead googled about the nearest shooting range last night), silent takedowns, and all that stuff.

These characters are so well thought up they just draw you in.

No worries. Previous episode always comes on right before the new one, just like Breaking Bad did. For me, new episode comes on at 9, last week's comes on at 8.
