Better Call Saul Season Thread - Season Six - April 18th

If this show is paced like BB (6 seasons = 2 "real" years) we've got a looooong way to go before the 'ol gang shows up.

It has to move faster then that IMO

Saul got more then 2 years to establish himself like he was in BB.

Remember everyone knew of him prior to meeting him.

You don't build that rep in 2 years.

Seeing Tuco makes me believe they all comin.

Hank will show up.
Gomie.
Gus.
Crazy 8.
Marie. (By extension of Hank)
Maybe even her sister. To the chagrin of everyone.

Mike's network will obviously grow, likely involving Saul.

I think it's all in play. Walt and Jesse are the only "cameos", the rest can be used as regulars.

Why would Hank and Gomez show up? They never mentioned any past transgressions involving Saul during BB.

Hopefully we only get cameos from bad guys and muscle, this show needs to be its own entity.
Why wouldn't they? Saul's a lawyer for criminals. They don't need to say anything about meeting him before to have come in to contact with him in the past.

If I remember right Hank meets Saul in BB when he comes for Jesse after Hank beat him up.

Not really. The ol gang still lives in the same area.

It'd be nothing to see Saul go get his new car washed and Walt be the guy vacuuming it.

I really liked the montage where he was getting in his groove as a public defender. Just a quick take going through at least a half dozen defandants. I dont think this show needs more than that in a "court" setting to succeed. It'll be all that outside stuff like we've been seeing.. That troll joke was pretty good too. I believe this show needs equal parts funny, equal parts serious. BB had bits of funny and that seemed alright. But this guys quirky as hell.

This is a bit surreal for me. I discovered Mr Show many years back (years after it ended) and have been a Bob (and David) fan since. Cross had some short fame as Tobias in Arrested Development. It would be great to see a Cross cameo at some point. I would have guessed Cross getting a starring role over Odenkirk first. But a serious role? I think he's playing it just right so far.

Imagine them featuring time after the plane crash, him wearin that ribbon again. :pimp:

Or the dude who's car Walt blew up, hirin a lawyer after the fact.

So much they can do.

My question is, will the ending be someone locating him in Nebraska and finishing that???

Finally got around to watching the first two episodes.

Saul's negotiation skills are top notch. The Saul-Tuco scene reminded me of when Walt and Jesse kidnapped Saul and and threatened him to defend Badger in the desert.

Just caught up with the second episode. Damn I love this show. I can't wait to see the different story arcs to pan out.

I agree with the folks saying they need to keep the references minimal.
Maybe one big reference per season
Let this show be its own.

Just watch both episodes. Good to see mikes same happy face in the episode. i :lol:ed everytime saul pulled up and had to go back for one star. The struggle :frown:

Solid first two episodes.

Can't wait for people to start posting their outlandish theories

I like that they're still juxtaposing Tuco's crazy side with some very human interactions

Dude went from wearing an apron cooking salsa at his grandma house to holding ****** hostage and breaking legs in the desert
