adult braces

Bruh you can't feast with braces???

DAMN, I just got mine on like a half year ago :smh:

shouldve done it as a kid

go with the classic metal braces. get it corrected much faster

invisalign works but it takes longer, and you need to take it out to eat. remember, it only works in your mouth. also, need new aligner every couple weeks, which can be painful cause your teeth needs to adjust to them. lot more expensive and certain adjustments to your teeth cannot be made with invisalign
yeah...

15 year old Fontaine with no job living with a single mother making 30k...

Totally made the decision not to get braces back then.

I think I want to go braces because invisalign seems like it will take awhile and there's a lot of in and out with it. I'll lose track of that

my parents made me work and pay for them when i was in middle school
either video games/jordans/etc or a nice teeth

ya teef aint that bad, could just get some veneers. do you have a slite over/under bite that needs to be corrected?
the top and bottom could be lined up better.

the feeling when you take it off :pimp:
still get compliments on my teeth. some chick the other day said it's so perfect, it looked fake

Same situation as you bro, 25, looking into getting braces.

I'm cool w/o em, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't lost out on a couple yambs over the years because of my grill. It actually isnt that bad as it's mainly my bottom row that f***ed, but it's def something I've been looking into for a couple years.

What I suggest to you man, is to look up a few orthodontists, go in for some evaluations, and basically shop around. The consensus with me is that it would take about 2 years with the metal joints, and they want to pull my wisdoms (I have all 4). I CAN get invisaline... and they'll take the same amount of time, but I'd have to wear a retainer for the rest of my live basically.

Oh yea, another thing, try to hit up an Ortho that has one of those fancy "360" x-ray machines... getting your mouth xrayed is annoying as all hell

Damn glad my parents set me straight earlyyy. I had braces for what felt like all of my childhood hah like 5th through 8th :x

But yea get compliments on my smile every other day. Ive even had broads intimidated. Sayin silly ish ike ur teeth are so straight n clean i dont wanna open my mouth :/

Theyre not tho. I need a good whitening

All those lady pubes gonna get caught up in the metal and she'll really be screaming....... in pain.
So if a girl says I have to do it for head... I'm justified in telling her this right? And then still getting head?

I hopped on invisqlign a couple years back and there is a significant improvement and I've gotten some compliments but I still feel that up close, there are still some spaces that need to be closed.

Also those 3d crest white strips are the truth.

I got braces @ 24 (Last october) best decision ever.

Confidence is through the roof

Thinking about getting Invisalign gotta look into the cost. Is it really expensive?

My smile is fine I just have 2 gaps due to teeth growing on top of each other in my baby tooth stage.

You metal brace folks, how much did they end up costing if you done mind?  I was quoted 5k.. 1k down+100ish a month.. no interest.  Insurance wont cover a penny.

I did invisalign a few years ago - highly recommend it if you qualify. Prices vary by the office that puts them on you (I had quotes that varied by as much as a thousand) but I found one that was a good price plus took off like 6% if I paid all up front.

As long as you are disciplined I think it works great and you get used to it.

I had braces from 8/2001 to 2/2004 (9th Grade to 11th grade) I was 14, so about 2 in the half years. I had a gap and a huge overbite growing up. I get complimented on my smile very often. Not to toot my horn, but here is a pic of me about a few weeks ago.

@Methodical Management

Dude has a nice smile but I want to compliment him without sounding gay...

But I can't say the "no homo" part...

How do I complete this complimentary transaction AND maintain my heterosexuality?

"Look at this good looking brother right here"

Aint no shame bruh

I've had invisalign for over a year now. A little annoying to deal with always taking them out to eat, then cleaning your teeth to put them back in. No one notices when I have them on though. Some people I have seen regularly for the entire time I've had them had no idea unless I tell them or take them out in front of them. Don't misplace them though, they are literally invisible when you are looking for them
They have done a good job of straightening up my teeth though.

How long y'all think it's gonna take?

Can I lick yambs with braces?

Dead srs

That's nothing.

Here is an example of my expected results.

My cost is $5k. Supposed to last about 10 months.

Confidence wasn't the issue for me. I just meet new people all day every day and I think appearance is important. Now that I can afford it I figure why not.

I got headaches in the beginning because of the pressure. I couldn't see them moving but I can feel it. I find myself brushing my teeth like 6x a day. I don't snack as often as I used to because taking them off and putting them back on is annoying.

As for licking yambs, you can, but I wouldn't be down there too long. Only drink I drink with them on is water and it makes its in the braces. Imagine the snatch juice being there. :x. Just hope you don't need attachments. You know those artificial rock climbing walls? Imagine the wall being your teeth and those things you grab to climb are the attachments. Basically a grip for the braces to help the move.
