pillar is the better contact hitter, strikes out less, walks a little less, less power, not a terrible option if you dont want choo, but might not have the ceiling choo has (although I'm not big on choo whatsoever).

Yeah I think I'll sit tight right now and just keep tabs on how Pillar is playing. Thanks for the insight.

yeah its still a solid move. correa could be solid this year, but he's 20, young, i rather go with the establish pro's you're getting who are really solid players.

In a non keeper you're getting a steal with that trade. I like me some Correa but I'd take that deal in a heartbeat

Need help, was offered Miggy and Paredes for my Howie, Carlos Gomez and Cueto. I feel like I wont hurt too much at pitching since I have Cole, Harvey, Strasburg, Carrasco and Lynn. I also snatched up Panik as my 2B

I wouldn't rely on Strasburg for anything. See if you can get someone better than Paredes.

Finally dropped Big Papi after seemingly being a waste of space on my bench/random Util slot when I feel like playing him.

Instead, I picked up Matt Duffy

Not sure how long that'll last. I'm probably better off using that slot for a spot-starter, then again, I do have Fister on the DL due to be back soon.

Somebody dropped Joe Panik last Thursday to pick up Carlos Correa so I scooped up Panik the next day. Since then he's 11-24 with 6 runs scored, 2 homers, and 3 RBIs .

guy I'm sharing one with decided to randomly drop lance mccullers for no reason thinking he's a bum even though he struck out 7 in 7 innings with 0 walks and dealt with 2 rain delays on monday losing a 3-1 game to chris sale. so of course this league is pitching dominated and mccullers didn't clear waivers and someone grabbed him. ******* idiot. i already ripped him for the move but this is ridiculous. mccullers was the perfect no 5 starter with huge upside. we're 7-2 and have the chance to literally dominate the rest of the way with our staff but he wants to drop an electric arm with 2 plus plus pitches and huge strikeout numbers for 0 reason. ******* idiot.

I've never shared a team with anybody because of this reason. I'd want total control of the roster, whether the moves I make end up being good or not. Two of my boys split a team in my league and they were already arguing on draft day so I can't imagine what goes on when one of them wants to drop/pickup .

Anyone's league have a limit on how many SPs you can roster? In my league you're obligated to start 5 SPs and you also have 2 SP/RP "flex" spots. But you're only allowed to have 7 SPs on your team :x. Doesn't allow for any type of flexibility for spot starts, speculative pickups, etc.

this league you're supposed to only use max 10 starters but espn has a glitch so u can cheese it

im not doing this again. its year 2 of sharing a team, last year injuries screwed us early but we went on a huge tear just not enough time to sneak into the playoffs. this year i drafted a beastly team, made some great waiver wire pick ups (mccullers and carlos martinez) but clearly this numbnuts doesn't understand baseball or read scouting reports. basically just want to win the league and move on next year so i could win it again on my own without dealing with any headaches
freaking guy made us draft daniel murphy instead of some good players we could've actually used and then dropped him in week 2.

Dang I would be heated, I can't even imagine sharing my team with someone.  I'm so anal about my roster as is I definitely wouldn't be able to handle someone else making adds/drops.  I would figure you'd at least have to discuss this stuff beforehand.

My league doesn't have any limit on pitchers owned which is why it's so pitching heavy.  Top teams only carry 1-2 batters on the bench usually and it does lead to a lot of pitcher streaming.  I kind of like that aspect as it makes people stay active, but I usually just try and find guys I want to stick with long term rather than go in with the intention of streaming week to week.

Joe Panik - I'm salty I wasn't able to pick him up but I was definitely watching him for too long anyway.  He'd been sitting so long I figured I'd wait till Gonzalez or Lynn (possibly) hit the DL and then grab him.  It's cool though, have Dickerson coming back today so I wouldn't have much room for him anyway.

worst part is i always discuss stuff w him beforehand when i want to make a pick up out of respect. he just goes n does stuff thinking he knows what he's doing. we're carrying 3 damn catcher in a 1 catcher league, it's ridiculous. he dropped mccullers to activate d'arnaud off the dl who we dont even need at the moment. sitting here with wieters, martin and d'arnaud. not like i need all 3 for the utility spots the lineup is stacked to begin with.

im glad i grabbed joe panik before this mets series in my keeper league. st johns alumni thats crushing it this year cut down his ground ball frequency by 10 percent and its paying off immensely. hasn't sacrificed contact or effectiveness either by doing that. moneyball joe as i call him

Dang, yeah I'd be trying to trade away 2 of those catchers asap.  Could probably get some decent pitching from catcher starved teams.
