What's the allure of a McDonald's burger?

I will say Wendy's and Burger King taste better overall to me. But I still go to McDonalds more often than either of them.

Though if I could I would go to Shake Shack everyday.
 
Burger King whopper is good money and Wendy's taste good too. I wouldn't say either is better but they are distinctively different, depends on what I'm in the mood for.

McDs is just convenience. Other than that, I check it out about 3-4 times a year and end up disappointed every time.

See I thought maybe just I was raised that way. The only time you really ate out was when it was a special occasion or you was out of town.

Sausage McGriddle is that crack. It's an absolute travesty McDonald's breakfast stops at 11am.

Is there a difference in the quality of meat/burger on the dollar menu compared to a burger that's not?
 
Cookout Chargrill Burger with Cheese, Bacon, and grilled onions, double chicken nuggets, and a huge tea.

I **** everytime I eat this but it's totally worth it :smokin

A Whopper with cheese and bacon is damn good. I didn't eat much BK until I moved into a dorm building that was right next door to one.

I came in to bring up cookout too. Just moved to an area that has one across the street and I'll go there if I want a burger. Big double burger tray Cajun fries and chicken quesadilla with a strawberry cheesecake shake or cheering for like 6 bucks lol

Its like mcdonalds and sonic combined but with lesser food and mexicans.

All the crackheads around here go there.

Its straight.

Theu got good milkshakes.

But sometimes its gross.

Anybody out in Washington ever go to a chain called Burgermasters?  i was visiting family out there last year and stopped at one of them, and goddamn that was a good burger.  Had to take a nap after eating that bad boy.

From all the travelling around the US and burger eating that ive done i definitely think that west coast burgers > east coast burgers.

Sounds like you just have a bad spot. The ones here is always just packed with college kids. Sometimes can be a bit greasy but it's still good food all around. Great prices and great milkshakes too.
 
Reading this thread has caused me to cook up burgers for the past 2 days. Will probably make a bacon cheeseburger and a chicken whopper later.
 
I never think mcdonalds burgers taste bad going down. Does anyone actually not like the taste?
It definitely sits in my stomach like a rock though and makes me feel lethargic afterward.
 
That broke man combo meal is clutch.

2 McDoubles and a small fry. **** got me through college.


If I'm paying $8 for a combo meal I'm getting something other than Mickey D's though
