One of My Biggest Dissapointments In Life Was Being Too Young for Freak-Nik.

I was too young to attend. I was 9 y/o :frown:

All I heard was stories. I'll watch the video later

Went to FreakNik in 95 and 96.  Myrtle Beach all the way up to 2002.  Great times back then.  '96 was kinda lame though, the city was already shutting stuff down in ATL.  Didn't go in 97 but I heard they basically blocked off where it was and rerouted everybody.  Im 37, btw and seen most of it all, lol.  Memorial Weekend in Mia, Bike week, Caribana in T Dot and nothing, I mean NOTHING compares to the **** I saw in ATL!  Dudes getting top in elevators, broads in cars getting ate out by random dudes and dancing *** naked on hotel balconies... great memories, bruh!

I'm almost your age. Could have went in 97 but I had heard it already fell off. Did Daytona BCR a couple times, MIA Memorial Day from 01-05, Howard Homecoming, but something tells me that Freaknik in it's prime would have eclipsed them all.

I'm from Miami but have fam in ATL. Theoretically, I could have found some reason to ask to visit fam in 94-96, but I was too busy chasing high school honeys and thought it would still be there when I got to college.

@Benny Bugatti  Yeah, in '97 it was a waste from what I heard.  96 was the last decent year.  Bruh... I literally got kidnapped at Daytona in 97!!  Me and my guy were walking down the strip and a car with four girls from FAMU in it stopped in the middle of the road opened the door, snatched us up and said "yall coming with us"!

I thoroughly enjoyed my late teens-mid twenties, lol

It was... it was quite legendary.

I missed out on it unfortunately. I did attend Bike Week, Black College Weekend, and Memorial Day in Miami during the prime years.

Watched it some time last year. Good doc. Wasn't living here back then but my dad was. The city was crazy. :smokin
