Nike SNKRS App Nike.com/SNKRS

Many of you guys are misunderstood with the app.
Right now, we are beta testers and the perk of that is we get the better algorithms/configurations but ultimately, the app will just make it more convenient to buy shoes. It's def not supposed to be this end all be all and won't guarantee pairs like people this will happen.

Just enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Yep!  I'm just enjoying the ride while it lasts.  Thankfully I wanted the Gold Foams and Laser IVs and the app made it easier and more convenient to buy.

Wishful thinking:

Would be nice if users who were fortunate to receive the access code (and early access to the app) continue to be beta users for upcoming versions of the app, and continue to use the newer configurations/algorithms in the future; while the "public release" version will be used to those NDC accounts that did not get a app code and use the older configs.

Apple has something similar for beta testers for their OS10.10 software.

Why? Greed? Selfishness?
What makes you better than the next man? We should all have a fair shake at the shoes at the end of the day.

Naw, not greed. I just like to be a beta tester on tech stuff.  Get a first hand look on tech/software and send in feedback to the company. Hopefully my tiny contribution can help others in the future.

Exactly. I like the perks and all but I still think my boys should be able to get it in too

Same here... Tried to get my friend a code for weeks till he told me to just give it up.. I finally got one to my main ndc account and gave it to him... He copped the lasers and he gonna try for the air max zero.

Cmon son.

Really? Smh.
'Right hand up' really really!

Passed on these laser 4s and planning on passing on everything else up until July for the Bordeaux 7s.  "Remastered" price tag is no joke on the bank account, and I'm not going to be spending extra money on shoes that I don't want just because it's available readily on an iPhone app. Having a beta version of anything gives someone an opportunity to learn the ways of the program so that they can teach others how to fully utilize it once it's public.

I thoroughly enjoy SNKRS, with it's short articles on certain shoes, "History of..."... hopefully future versions will have more enjoyable content.

There's more to sneakers than just the sneaker itself.

That would actually be a nightmare for Nike to deal with. Setting up Beta Access for iOS apps is not a simple thing to do for 1000's or 10,000's of the people with SNKRS codes already.

I am sure they have a small group of internal Nike employees and friends that beta test new version of the SNKRS app, but any more than that would become a headache.

Can you enter promo codes on the app?
Not yet.  But you can work around it.

Log into your account on a computer, add something super cheap and apply the promo code.  It will be saved, so when you check out via the app (same account) it will be applied.

If you don't want to do that.  Cop via the app, then call NDC and have them apply it.

Do you have to leave the item in your cart? Or how does it work once you apply the code

Did you have success on this trick?

SNKRS checks out only one item (e.g. Foams). It left all my other carted NDC items in my cart.

I used your trick and it didn't work for me.

i'm 2/2 with codes. gave the other one to my bro. i got my first code a few hours after mirror foam release lol dammit. haven't used the app to cop anything ever since. website is better with 10% cashback.

Searched for about three minutes and found me a pair. Then i click pay and get "error message 1cd blahblah" . Then go all the way through again and it tells me i always copped. No charge, order confirmation, or order showing up at all. Pretty pissed about it. Then had to get a cart oop. Free though.
