Nike SNKRS App Nike.com/SNKRS

I downloaded the app when it first came out and waited around a month until they sent me a code. I haven't bought anything on the app yet, but it seems very easy when buying releases.

Seems easy because not many people have access.

It will be different when everyone has access.

Like someone was saying before we're basically beta testing for nike. It's easy now. I was out 30 seconds into 9am this morning. But once it's made public things will change. We should all enjoy the ride while it lasts. *crossing fingers things stay like this till the chicago 1's*

I hope it stays a bit longer.

Dont want hypebeasts to ruin this app.

Didn't even realize hypebeasts didn't own the app..... Learn something new everyday.

Anyone think connection speed (3G/LTE/wifi) makes a difference in carting & purchasing with the app?

Funny cause I turned off my wifi and relied on LTE to cop my gold foams which worked like a charm. I don't know if it makes a difference but I have noticed LTE is usually faster than regular wifi. Plus if you're in an area with bad connection I think it's safer to use the LTE route. Just my .02

It's all subjective.

just speed test on lte and again on wifi.

Still subjective. My wifi could be much better than yours so my results could differ from what you may get.
Peoe just keep trying to over complicate things for no good reason.

Only asking because I remember it was discussed before that ping rate and/or download/upload speeds were correlated to success rate in carting online. So now, with the app, I was just curious if someone who is stuck with a 3G cellular connection have a lesser chance to cart than someone on LTE connection; or will the whole "advanced algorithm" people were talking before make it all equal to all people using the app regardless of connection speed.

You are overthinking it. Whenever you are sending data then the best chances are with the best connections. If you are getting the best data transfer via LTE then use it. If there is latency between sending and receiving messages then of course there will be issues.

You can have the worlds best algorithm and still take the L if you are using it on dial up connections.

Personally I think the app was only good for Gold Foams, everything else I was able to cart successfully and checkout without the app.

This is my point. For each person, test your Wi-Fi speed, then test your 4g speed and see which is better in your situation.

For me, my Wi-Fi will be much faster cuz I have 75mb/s service. This may not be the case for others
