Nike SNKRS App Nike.com/SNKRS

Can someone explain how the refresh on the app works?  If i am looking at a sneaker that goes live at 10, does the app automatically refresh when its available, or do i need to manually refresh to get the buy button to show up?

Thanks in advance!

Just watch the time on your phone and back out and actually click the picture/link to the shoe when it gets about a minute or less to launch. The app will eventually give you the buy link.

So it does automatically refresh when on the product page?  Thanks @vuuduu
Yes. So let's say it's 8:59 or 8:58 for a 9am drop and it still doesn't have the buy link. Don't wait for the app to refresh, just go back and click on the shoe picture again and keep doing it until you get the buy link. The app is terrible at refreshing itself.

app messed me up. i have chromes saves as a favorite and they had a "notify me" button. 10am comes and buy option doesn't appear. had to go out to main feed to see the buy option. whats the point of the favorites feature? >:

anyway, pending with little hope of success

Would there be an advantage to, if possible, adding SNKRS to my mac book and using a wired connection over using my iPad and wi-fi?

That isn't possible, so no.
Gotcha. I rarely connect the mac to the internet but would have if it proved to be advantageous! LOL
It's certainly advantageous for EVERY Saturday drop to be hard-wired. Cuts down on your latency significantly. But unless you want to run the SNKRS app through developer tools in the iPhone simulator, there's no way to run an iOS app on OSX. Even if you did, there could be many issues.

I personally don't believe that the SNKRS app gives you any leg up now. What I do suggest is installing the speedtest.net app on your iPhone. Run it on your wifi, then kill wifi and check what your speeds are over LTE. Then choose which is the better option for tomorrow. I just see it as another asset. I'll be running 3 computers all hard-wired ethernet over a really fast connection at my office (literally 500 ft from my house). Fast, hard-wired ethernet is about the only chance you really stand against bots on limited releases.

didnt try for the AM90s the other day, but did try for the chromes this morning on both SNKRS (non-public version) and NDC

SNKRS gave me pending for about 10 minutes, then OOS, then pending, then OOS, then invalid password, then pending, then no such item

NDC had me pending for about 15 minutes before OOS

have now updated SNKRS to the public version, seems to be no difference

trying for the OG HIs tomorrow, well see how it goes

That's pretty crazy. If I'm not mistaken it's the first time that Nike has actually come straight out and said that "bots" were a problem.

Bout time.

Still will beat around the bush and not fix any problems.

Servers still suck balls

You would think they would want to sell the majority of the shoes THEMSELVES rather than wholesale.

Dont upgrade the website. Donate the money that could be used for that, to make sure every UO duck has a new shiny uniform everygame.
