I'm about an hour out of Pittsburgh, and i got a notification only for the Chicagos. I know i explicitly selected to receive notifications for the Chicagos when they were on the app, and didn't select to receive notifications for the pinnacles. So is everyone thinking that the online chicago release will somehow be dictated by location? Im not following that logic for this specific release, didn't they already release these in their stores?

No. We're just speculating at this point. The latest update for the SNKRS enabled location services but they haven't announced anything.

Im speculating as well but I believe the geo location thing will ONLY be used for specific launches which would require in store.. or like how the OVO pop up happened in LA etc. I don't imagine it would be used for a nike.com online release.
Only my $0.02 worth of course.

No it wasn't smart because I did update my app.. The notification means something, it didn't happen by itself, but you seem to know all so Ill take your advice. smh
