Hopefully they do this more orderly than last year - buddy and I waited more than an hour for our time slot so everything just kept getting pushed back.

the wait just depends on you really

like if you have a 7PM slot you are guaranteed to get in

but its still FCFS so if you care about first dibs or not is the issue

most people seem to be there atleast an hour before their time slot here in NYC it seems to be in the front of the line


last year though they pushed time slots later due to how cold it was(saturday) and again this year saturday will be arctic in NYC again

last year all slots were pushed back 2 hours but you couldnt find this out untill you showed up

which pissed off a lot of people and honestly majority of them still waited in the cold

i had a friend with me so we sat in the car thankfully but i had a 2pm slot and couldnt get in till 430pm due to the delay
 
Good to know. The email says the line won't open up until 30 minutes before your session. Also says the positions in line are predetermined?

they wont do that

nike loves the "surprise" aspect which will happen all over social media throught the day each day


its great publicity


plus it helps spread the wealth so everyone can walk away with something

as they didnt limit us last year we could literally purchase 1 of every shoe available during your slot


so if they did everything at once that first slot/day would target the hottest shoe and it would be done for the entire weekend lol

so whoever didnt get in day 1 but gets in day 3 selection would be mehh


i like the random aspect i scored great that saturday last year to walk out and then BOOM red foam and chrome foam i was like wtf i was just in there lol

people are outside with ipads and they verify your reservation via ID and your nike account

which is why anyone signing up to trade or give away a reservation just wasted their time and others free space


they attempt to have you line up in order of your reservation for your slot but it never goes well lol

also they wont allow you into the ropes earlier than 30 mins but everyone ques up just beyond the ropes lol

Damn missed out. Anybody that's not going to NYC or willing to give up their reservation please pm me.
If not I'll just be taking that trip to Toronto.
