So i haven't been posting a lot lately Because last year septmeber me and my girlfriend found out we're having a baby so I've been preparing myself for this next chapter in my life.

She's due april 25th and having a daughter

so while in my own thoughts i just don't understand dead beats, all i wanna do is being around my daughter when she gets here, spoil her and love her, this is a human thats going to look up to you and come to you for everything, like who can deny something like that?

any who what I'm trying to say so theres no excuse in the world why you shouldn't be in your childs life.

Dudes are built different, b. I used to kick it with a chick and she said the baby daddy cut her completely off when she told him she was preg.

People's concerns vary, just like a vegan doesn't understand how people consume slaughtered animals, which does seem wrong, but people like how eating it makes them feel so they do what's best for them. Dudes don't want to be about that daddy life so they bail. The older I get, I realize that i have less and less respect for my dad because he wasn't there for me as much as I needed him growing up. As a man, I can't imagine not being there for my son. Life is hard enough as it is especially when you don't have proper foundation /guidance.

The same logic deadbeat dads use to rationalize abandoning their own seed is the same logic snitches use when they aren't willing to handle the consequences of their own crimes

Random as hell comparison. Did someone snitch on you?

My mother's friend met this guy on POF.

Had (unprotected) sex on the first date & every date afterwards.

Dude would come through & eat up all her food, knowing that she's on EBT or whatever.

She gets pregnant. Dude BLOCKS her number & hasn't spoken to her in months. She just had the baby last week & still hasn't heard from the guy.

Some dudes are just wired differently in the head, man.

I'm having a baby in July. I don't get it either, man. Ultimately they lose out.

Selfishness.

But I also know that in SOME cases the woman chose the state to help her raise the child instead of the father.

Yeah, but that's on the mom... She knew what she was getting into... Her own Damn fault she let a dude bust in her...

My mother told my father he wasn't the daddy and he didn't know till I was 4 or 5... He wasn't around after that either....

Neither of them are in my life anymore...

While I don't like the idea of it or them or condone it in most ways it's very easy to understand not wanting to be responsible.

Some lame dudes out there just aint built or wired like you. They couldn't give a **** about kids. They're shook to the core ***** made dudes that are extremely selfish and juvenile.

I agree. My mother basically told her that & she got mad & they haven't spoke in a while.

Snitches tell on ppl they did the crime with or tell on ppl they did past crimes with or if they know that someone murdered somebody all to get a pass or a lesser punishment.

Deadbeat dads simply don't give a ****. They're not trying to pass off their responsibility on the next man, they're just ignoring it and continuing to do w/e they want.

I don't see how that logic is the same. Random comparison.

OP is a clown tho.. I feel you in respects to dead beat dads but that spoiler had me rolling, talk about thread derail. :wow:

Engaging in an action and then having another person bear the brunt of the consequences because they can't handle it...

Pretty clear.... Both use cognitive dissonance in their reasoning of avoiding unwanted responsibility.

These threads are always funny to me cause my mom turned out to be the dead beat and my pops is the one that put in work.

Every 'I love you mom' type rap song has to be skipped cause I can never relate lol.

Can't relate to none of my boys either. Only one I know raised in this situation.

It's weird the way being deprived of one or the other has multiple differing effects.

Truly feel like I don't need women for anything at all other than sex..

Wasn't brought up around any that stuck around for long other than my grandparents.

I can cook, clean, do all my own housework, manage my own emotions, etc.. Nice to have around when needed but ultimately not a necessity at all.

Well, this thread should go well.

That being said, it's a vicious cycle. Dudes raised without a father ain't gonna stick around to raise a kid themselves. They don't know anything other than their own experience. It's basic psychology.
