wasnt olawakandi a first pick? although kandiman did last like 13 years in the league. bennett is gonna be in that kwame brown territory if he doesn't do something.
getting Jrue Holiday wasn't a heinous move. he's talented but his ceiling isn't anywhere near Noel's. they could've done worse is what I'm getting at.

Did they trade before the draft that day or had the draft already happened?.. I can't specifically remember the timeline.
If it was before the draft, then they could hide behind well we didn't think Noel would have been there, and didn't like any of the picks there.. Still a bad trade, but gives them a little bit of cover.

Nah they drafted Noel then traded him. I was so jacked at the possibility of seeing him and AD terrorize on defense. Such a stupid trade.

I'm not gonna lie, I felt that way about him, but have changed my mind on him. He is a good defensive player and if he works on his post moves he can become a consistent offensive threat.
