The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

Just looked him up now he looks promising the jumpshot is beautiful

But I still wouldn't take him over those 2, international players have me shook

You just have that Jan Vesley PTSD bro. Your front court is Nene and Gortat - 2 internationals. There's evidence of guys like Mario succeeding in the league. Can't just stay away from every international dude forever.

I don't understand how Saunders favors Okafor>KAT.... wouldn't he want the player thats closer to young KG? Than a lumbering oaf of a big man?

Okafor isn't an oaf. Somehow throughout this process he's become underrated. I think he'll walk in averaging close to 20 and 7, he's to solid in the post not to if he gets touches. It's just that KAT has rare versatility that is at such a premium in today's league, that'd it'd be asinine to pass on him, but again this is Flip. I'm hoping he sticks to his guns.

This is what I'm saying, you'd think that with Flip's experience with a similar young prospect in KG, 20 years ago, he'd be drooling all over him rather than Okafor.

Which is why I don't get why there's so much chatter about Minny going Okafor>KAT

I do have ptsd, I'm not against internationals, just against them in the top 10, I feel like they are fragile they cant handle that pressure, the amount of internationals that bust in he top 10 is too high

Im not against them just draft them later

Delon Wright or Jerian Grant...

:wow: @ that KAT vid.

Bruh....dude will succeed in ANY system. Minnesota will be kicking themselves in the butts if they pass on him.

I don't really see the Sheed comp tbh. This boy Towns like a whole other beast (potentially) with the skill set he has

I love how Towns doesn't play stiff either, not straight up and down. He can really get low and get into gear

From the few workout vids I've seen of RJ Hunter, reminds me of a tad bit shorter Mike Miller

If the Knicks really took Winslow, ballsy

I know there were some reports about DET wanting a stretch 4, while it makes sense I do wonder if that's a smoke screen

If OKC isn't going to take a SG or SF, I hope they can trade the pick for one. I don't honestly see the point in getting a point guard, unless maybe they plan on having Westbrook play the 2 later in the game. Honestly I might rather have Grant than Payne, just seems like a better fit

This trade just came up in my mind:

Sixers get: #14
Thunder get: Covington, #35

Maybe the Thunder throw in Waiters to make the Sixers bite.

Did Covington play mostly the 3 for the 6ers? If yes, that would be an interesting trade

Covington's contract

super cheap for the next three years

I do like Cameron Payne, I just question his fit with OKC. I dig his style and his skill set, he's just small. Could they get away with playing him and Westbrook together for long minutes? Hopefully he's more Conley/Teague than Brandon Jennings

Yeah.

Actually Philly owns OKC's 2016 first round pick from the mid-season trade. Return it back to OKC with Covington in exchange for #14?

I'd pull the trigger on that from both sides of the deal

Does Philly really need a one dimensional volume shooter like Covington? Midas well stockpile the lotto pick

OKC on the other hand needs a wing in the worst way, whether a starter or a bench guy

We need a wing to develop and for depth but I don't think we need a wing in the worst way.. We're looking for our 4th guy

Start Westbrook and morrow.. Both get mins with dj.. Plus throw in Roberson getting mins at the 2 and 3

Brooks is just an idiot who couldn't manage his roster.. Like he had one way of doing things and couldn't deviate from that

You trust Morrow and Roberson to be your main wings after KD?

I feel like you need at least one wing off the bench

You have an absolute log jam for big men. It's semi ridiculous
