The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

He was on a team that was desperate at times for depth and shooting and every chance to step in and play. He isnt good.

And I liked the guy a lot in the draft/college. But to say he hasn't had a chance is wrong. He looked awful out there all the time.

Delon Wright or Jerian Grant...

:wow: @ that KAT vid.

Bruh....dude will succeed in ANY system. Minnesota will be kicking themselves in the butts if they pass on him.

How heavy are GMs gonna weigh that 1 workout tho? Cause I'm reading KAT isn't working out for teams

He's a lock to go in the first 10 minutes of the draft. Why would he need to work out for any teams besides Minny?

That workout wasnt even for Minny, It was a personal workout he did, and certain people looked on

I dont know about how legit Chad Ford sources are but he says that Flip is looking at taking Jahlil number 1, but he's clashing with the rest of the team brass, they want KAT

KAT said himself in one of the DX interviews he's probably gonna work out for the teams..prob just Lakers twolves

I view the workout video as just more confirmation that you can't afford not to take Towns. Regardless, his defense is much better than Okafor's. Then when you see what kind of skill he possesses in that workout... I just think it's more evidence not the deciding piece of evidence but just more confirmation. It reaffirms what many have been saying about his shooting stroke

To answer you, just respect, I thought if a team wanted to workout for them

You did unless it was a hassle for you

F that Workout, Jah was taking dudes off the dribble in games, KAT's defense is way better, i legit cringed how far back Jah played the pick and roll

And Vic your somewhat right in the sense of when your the consensus 1 or 2 pick working out for some teams is pointless, but I only mentioned it cause dude said he legit isnt working out for anyone and if he does in fact go number 2 I have a feeling that would be why

This trade just came up in my mind:

Sixers get: #14
Thunder get: Covington, #35

Maybe the Thunder throw in Waiters to make the Sixers bite.

**** that I like Covington. He's legit like the only dude on our current roster that can shoot.

I'm torn with this draft. Would love for Towns to go to a team that will be committed to having a contender, something like the Lakers used to be before Jim. Just can't see the Wolves sustaining a team where they are long term. With that being said I'm not sure the Lakers have the management to do it either.

I still feel like lamb hasn't gotten a chance

We need a wing to develop and for depth but I don't think we need a wing in the worst way.. We're looking for our 4th guy

Start Westbrook and morrow.. Both get mins with dj.. Plus throw in Roberson getting mins at the 2 and 3

Brooks is just an idiot who couldn't manage his roster.. Like he had one way of doing things and couldn't deviate from that
You trust Morrow and Roberson to be your main wings after KD?

I feel like you need at least one wing off the bench

You have an absolute log jam for big men. It's semi ridiculous

I think you can manipulate the mins with those guys, dj and Westbrook

I'd play Roberson mainly at the 3 with dj/Westbrook, Westbrook/morrow or dj/morrow.. But he can also play with Westbrook/kd obviously (but you have ibaka for spacing)

I have no issue with us taking a guy who can develop and be long term impact player for us at the wing.. But next year, it's likely he's behind those guys

Exactly, you have to go with the highest upside player to put with wiggins.. You hope Lavine develops.. And you're just building around those guys

And they should heavily shop guys on their roster to facilitate this

It makes me kind of sad that a guy with KAT's skill is gonna be forced to work with either Flip Saunders or Byron Scott. If any coaches in the league would take an elite, versatile talent and try to box them into some outdated style of basketball - those 2 would be the top choices. BY FAR. They're about to turn him into Brandon Bass.

Scott can't possibly last past this season so he should be good if he goes to LA. Now Flip, that's a different story

Dude said that Okafor is going to walk in averaging 20 and 7 .

Lamb sucks. Never was a believer after he stunk it up that last year at UCONN. Kid doesn't seem passionate about basketball.

I really can't see how you don't take KAT at 1. I think you guys are forgetting early Sheed, not Detroit Sheed. Sheed literally had it all.
