The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

Who realistically could put together a nice package for Boogie?

Orlando (Oladipo/Vucevic)
Cle (Love/Moz)
Suns (Knight/Morris Twins)
Raps (Valucianas/Derozan)

Some of those suck but just off the top of my head...
Lakers. No. 2, Randle, Clarkson is a decent haul.

3 unproven players for a top 5 center entering his prime is a good haul? i'm not so sure.

Somebody pls take Chris Walker

Love is going to opt out, so there's no way that he S&T's to Sacto.

Same thing with Knight unless the max him. Bledsoe is who they're going to move or trying to.

Raps deal is awful. No way Sacto accepts that.

Sixers going to draft Russell anyway? :nerd:

You guys think Russell comes out during draft night and tells Philly not to draft him if he hasn't been picked up after the 2nd pick?

BTW, what's the story with Mudiay? Has he fallen down the board because of poor workouts or something?
Apparently teams are surprised he's not a good shooter yet. Knicks need him, he's the second best prospect in this draft.

What's the big deal over him being a poor shooter? Shouldn't that be the least of an NBA players problem? I've always believed you can improve jump shooting just by continuously working on it. Look at Tony Parker before 2004. The man had a TERRIBLE jump shot when he first entered the league, but become a decent shooter after working on that part of his game.

Things like effort and athleticism is something you can't teach IMO. Mudiay has a TON of potential to be the best player in this draft when it's all said and done. He's basically the prototypical PG the NBA is moving towards--Explosive and athletic.

New NBA problems. Scouts have lost their damn mind. Guy is a franchise talent. Has the body, athleticism, explosiveness, can finish in traffic, good passer, can become a great defender, but hey, his jumper is like john wall's coming out of kentucky so we gotta pass on him.

You can't get a no trade clause in the NBA unless you've been in the league at least 8 seasons and 4 years with the team you're re-signing with. There's a reason only one player has one (Kobe). I'm not sure but Wade may have one too

Those were just a few deals off the top of my head, I said some were awful (like the Raptors).

Orlando seems like they have the best assets possibly, bucks package centered around Jabari or Giannis could be intriguing I guess.

He's not getting traded though unless he gets fed up enough with the disfunction of the franchise that he demands a trade. Karl will go before he does. Firing Malone was such a bad move lol.

I just love when people say things about Porzingis/Mudiday/Hezonja being this or that, literally none of you have really seen any of those guys play and its pretty much all just you guys talking out your *****.

With that being said, I hope the Knicks actually take either Porzingis or Hezonja if Russell doesn't fall to us. I love Hezonja's game from his highlights and it just feels like we are due for a big-time Euro player to hit the league again. It's just instinct, the same BS insticnt I was just railing against but I feel like neither of those guys are going to be a bust. Coming from the best league in Europe, can shoot plus are good athletes.

Need moron Knicks fans to boo when we take one of those guys and Melo to demand a trade so the proper rebuild can begin :pimp:
