The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

Jalen Rose is drunk right now, he said the Knicks should draft Devin Booker

Why do they even bother putting these dudes on t.v.

every lightskin wing is Klay Thompson 2.0

every undersized 4 is Draymond Green 2.0

every PG that can shoot is Stephen Curry 2.0

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 1m
Sources: OKC engaged on fronts trying to unload a contract to solidify ability to keep Enes Kanter, Kyle Singler in restricted free agency.

Rick Bonnell @rick_bonnell 38m
I am told the @hornets will also end up with Jeremy Lamb in a separate deal involving Matt Barnes' contract. Barnes isn't going to OKC.

Sean Deveney @SeanDeveney 3m
After @hornets moves, source says Michael Jordan really likes Kaminsky at 9. Hmm ... Battle w old mentor @nyknicks Phil Jackson for Frank?

Russell, February/March (13 games)

FG: 83-205 (.404)
3pt: 31-90 (.344)
2pt: 52-115 (.452)
FT: 52-72 (.722)

Russell is taller than Billups, that's the only thing. Allows Russell to do the combo thing... but their IQ and vision certainly match

I still say Manu. Manu has incredible IQ, instincts and passing vision/ability. And they are the same size.. Manu definitely had a good awkwardness to his game that I don't think Russell does if that makes sense

Wow, I see y'all ain't really ******* with that trade on Charlotte's end. I've never been a believer in Vonleh though so meh.

EDIT: I will say though not a good look on their end to move on from the #9 pick this soon.

kinda an outlandish comparison.  russell a cool cat on the court and has a real smooth game while manu is probably the most out of control player we've seen the last 20 years.  they don't play the same position and are probably not on the same level athletically.  billups is a way more accurate comparison

not every lefty prospect is james harden or ginobili fellas

They don't play the same position? Point/SG? Manu did that

Again, Billups was smaller but they do similar things

Being a lefty prospect had nothing to do with that comparison btw

just feel like their styles of play are completely different to where i have no idea how u made the correlation so i assumed it was cause their lefties

reminded me of the people who say winslow reminds them of harden

Why u guys made at the Hornets tho? Ya had that much faith in Vonleh?

Bruh we had him for half a year. Who knows what the hell he could've been. Didn't give the kid time to develop anything.
TBH. Vonleh was extremely raw coming out of college, but had upside. However, the Hornets org isn't the best for developing talent and plus in was kinda buried behind other players. You guys really traded him, while he still had high value, and before it dipped.
