The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

im pretty sure if u take any two guards or forwards they will have at least 3 things in common lol

theres no way u were watching ohio state this year and thought to yourself "wow number 0 really reminds me of manu ginobili" unless we go with my og lefty theory
If you say so?

I don't think it's a common attribute to have the passing ability Russell has at such a young age and it reminded me of prime Manu threading the needle consistently in the pros

Russell reminds me of Brandon Roy more than anyone else. Lead guard, can shoot it, decent athlete, crafty, not fast but quick.

I think Russell will play more uptempo than Roy did. Where Roy would survey the floor, Russell is pulling up for threes a la Ginobili or Harden.

That's not a bad one IMO. Roy played a lot of point too.. very crafty.. I think Russell is on a track to become a better passer than Roy though

I agree with both points. I definitely think he'll rack up more dimes and shoot more threes

I think he's a little more shifty than Roy and a better long range shooter. Also likes to push the ball much more than Roy did.

There's a smaller Harden/Ginobili mixed with Curry in him.
Russel is incredible he's leapfrogged Mudaiy in my board. He's like that mid point between Harden and Manu, he's not quite as quick as Manu, not quite as strong as Harden. But he's got that same type of game.

Plays with incredible pace on on the pick and roll, so patient and poised making reads in traffic.

He's must see tv right now.
The young Manu.

Yeah thats it, it's over Danglo Russel is my officially my favorite college basketball player.

I feel like this draft has the most examples we've seen for how Youtube's changed the NBA, draft analysis and fans engagement with the event.

Jalen Rose knows more about basketball than anyone in this thread though .
And that means his comment about Devin Booker being a top 5 pick is logical?

I really hate when people do this appeal to authority asterisk.

Oh, but Michael Jordan said X. Oh, but Magic Johnson said Y. Like so-called "experts" can never be wrong about something.

devin booker has a sure proof NBA asset and size at his position . If you want to weigh out ceiling, need, BPA etc I'm sure you could go a number of ways mudiay, supermario,WCS ,zinger, winslow, okafur, stanley could all help immediately for NY

So what are you trying to say here buddy

If Devin Booker is the #4 pick multiple people should lose jobs. If I'm not qualified to make that comment, deal with it

Dudes trying to outsmart everyone by somehow trying to justify Rose's claims of taking Booker at 4.

In the event Booker turns out great, the same dudes will gloat about their prediction, although they just happened to be lucky and hit on one ridiculous claim.

Booker's best hope IMO is JJ Reddick which is not bad by any means especially for a pick outside the top 10

Why u guys made at the Hornets tho? Ya had that much faith in Vonleh? :nerd:

Bruh we had him for half a year. Who knows what the hell he could've been. Didn't give the kid time to develop anything.

Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress 2m
Told Charlotte had concerns about Noah Vonleh's acclimation to NBA. Had difficulties picking up on plays. Questions about his feel for game.

If that's how they felt, might as well sell high while you can. As long as Batum is healthy, he'll be a good fit on the wing over MKG.

Just gotta make sure you guys make a good pick 2moro, that's the part that worries me
