The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

Kings are moving their center over a coach that won't be there in 2 years

This dude actually wanted to stay in sac and they are booting him

You slander Melo but Demarcus has done nothing but be a looter in a riot and you laughing at Sac.

Dat Irony.

Has anyone ever asked Jon Rothstein why he is the way that he is hey Woj is trolling

Tyus Jones

Ya can call me crazy, but I love this kids game. I think he will be a sleeper.

As a backup point guard?
maybe, but a few of the games that I seen him ... He was the leader and stepped up big time. Expecially vs NC when Okafor was playing like doo doo to me ..

Like I said, call me crazy .... Maybe he never gets a real chances, but I hope he does so I can see what he can do .... I def know he would of have done a lot better than Deli ...

The obsession is that centers are the anchor of your defense. The NBA is a PNR league and if you have to play a center that can't guard it - it's VERY harmful to your defense. I've watched Brook Lopez play about 400 times. When he's passable defending the PNR and defending the rim, our defense is solid. When he's bad, it KILLS the Nets. If Okafor has trouble defending the PNR, properly rotating and protecting the rim, or rebounding defensively - it's going to be exploited on a regular basis.

No one is knocking low post offense - it's just that becoming GREAT in the low post is really, really hard nowadays. If he proves he can consistently score on post ups + catch the ball deep in the paint (with how physical and big defenders are - this is a really tough task) - he's going to start dealing with schemes specifically against him. Aggressive fronts, hard/soft double teams, entire teams digging at the ball. You need to not just be able to score but make perfect passes, take care of the ball, and consistently fight for deep position. It's not easy but low post offense isn't dead. LBJ just carried the Cavs through the post. Dwight did plenty of work in the post in the playoffs. So did Blake. So did Timmy, ZBo, etc.
Cant believe I am agreeing with a ******* Swamprat (term I use for your fanbase from the days in the Meadowlands) but well said

Zingaaaaaaaaa :pimp:
