The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

my bad, forgot to explain.

LMA likely to leave anyways. ariza replaces batum for cheaper, and nets them terrence jones who's still young with potential. same for papanikalou, and his contract isn't guaranteed if portland wants to move on.

I don't feel like the Lakers are trying to entice Philly to make moves. Sixers for sure want Russell, but Hinkie probably has no qualms kicking the can down the road some more. I can see how Boston will offer the house to jump in front of NYK to get Okafor at 3. Philly is going to be ok.

I'm not gonna be on here until around pick #10.... no need to be pissed

It would make sense to stay off the Internet during the draft if you don't want spoilers right guys

I'm confused, how do you spoil a draft?

D'Angelo Russell to the Los Angeles Lakers w/ the 2nd pick is what a source told me.

Can not believe this is really happening.

Smoke and mirrors. Lakers always up to some monkey business on draft days
What could the Celtics give us to justify trading away Russell/Okafor?

Seriously . Garbage picks are garbage picks, they don't increase in value because you have 2 dozen of them

Is that true or is that what you want to be true

They may think he's bpa after KAT

Jah has been the guy for the entire month, but suddenly on draft day after hearing that Philly covets D'Lo all of a sudden leaks come out that Russell is the guy. Yeah right. Big Oak will be a Laker at the end of the night.

I think hinkle would start catching some heat if he keeps prolonging this thing. His plan has basically failed every year so far

But I mean, it makes sense for the Lakers to want Russell if they think they can land LMA, Cousins, or Love. It's Kobe's last year. I would assume they want to win now with Kobe. A line up of LMA, Cousins, or Love/Randle/Kobe/Clarkson/Russell isn't that bad. I doubt a rookie PG and a 2nd year PF coming off a leg injury having played 14 minutes his rookie year is going to get you a title.

BUT going forward, all three FA big men are still young and in their primes, though LMA is pushing 30, and with young hopefuls like Randle, Clarkson, and Russell, that's a core you can build around and maybe get a chip with.

I think it makes sense and I really think that's where the Lakers should go even if I hope they don't.

I really think, and I could be wrong, that the Lakers do take Russell at 2. And as a result, the consensus #1 pick for like 90 percent of the year is sitting there at 3. Field all offers, and think Hinkie gets a haul tonight that helps solidifies their future with a base.

It can't just be more picks. This is year 3. I need to see more than MCW and 11 D-Leaguers. Or Nerlens Noel and 11 other D-Leaguers. ESPECIALLY if Embiid's future is in jeopardy. I'm not sitting through another year of horse**** for picks.

It really doesn't if they want LMA/Love, they can still go after him in FA even with Jah or if they're pursuing Boogie it'll take Jah to facilitate that trade with Sac.

They're not caring about what Kobe wants he's making 25 mil this season, he got his present and more already.

They can just as easily have a Jah/LMA or Love/Randle/Clarkson or Boogie/LMA or Love core.

But LMA would have to want to go to Houston. Doesn't seem like that's the case.

Everyone has their poker face on. Charlotte could trade up with nyk or trade back with phx/Boston. The news about us liking Frank is a smokescreen imo. Phoenix likes him and Boston wants one of WCS/turner. All a ploy here

IF russell goes to the lakers i wonder if philly will take okafor... if they pass on okafor thank you :pimp:
