The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

With all the questions surrounding the triangle, wouldn't it be easier to ditch that offensive philosophy and go with something else? Why is Jackson adamant about running it with this group of guys?
I feel like Melo has the damn near perfect skill set to lead the way in the triangle. I just don't know if it's too late for Melo to unlearn some of the drawbacks in his decision making and mindset

However I agree with you in that possibly going in another direction should at least be an option

I mean, Mudiay in the traingle... I just don't know about that... if that's the most conducive game plan

It's like trying to fit square pegs in round holes. It limits who you can draft because of the system that you're running.

With all the questions surrounding the triangle, wouldn't it be easier to ditch that offensive philosophy and go with something else? Why is Jackson adamant about running it with this group of guys?

He's the classic combination of an overpaid old guy living off his past success.

Who's going to tell him to change? Dolan?

He's got his own minion coaching for him.

Think about the success that he's had with the triangle. He had UNBELIEVABLE caliber talents running it to perfection with Pip, Jordan, Kobe, & Shaq. I get why Phil's expectations are high, but he's got to be realistic.

Phil already said there's a good chance they might leave the triangle alone next season.

He should.

*edit*

If the T-Wolves draft KAT, are they gonna dangle Pek at the draft? They could bolster their team even more if they do so...

Booker is not getting drafted ahead of Mario. Some of these mocks man.

Zinger goes to the Kings if my guess.
if that plays out.. okc has to move up for Mario.. offer next year's 1st..

or anyone of this grouping: waiters, pj3 and/or lamb

Mario coming over this year ?

As with many elite international prospects competing at the highest levels, there's also a notable economic element to Hezonja's future due to his contract situation. As is often been the case, there's a fair amount of confusion surrounding his situations, but as it stands, the seven year contract he signed three years ago includes a team option to extend his deal for its final four years on May 31st. Barcelona will certainly pick it up and Hezonja doesn't have an option to terminate, meaning he'll have to pay his NBA buyout, which stands at 2 million Euro, before he makes the jump across the Atlantic. Though he may have to take out a loan and pay interest to make that payment up front, this shouldn't have a major impact on his draft stock or his decision to stay in the draft as he's a likely top-10 pick.

His team in Europe been trolling.

15 scouts go to see him and they play him 6 minutes that game.

Europe teams be hustlin...Probly signed Mario for nothin as a youngin , now bout to get a couple mil back

Pek has low value considering his injuries, skill set and contract, BUT, you know some team will bite

They need to ship him off for draft picks at least or a veteran leader, someone to mentor the youngins

Is KG retiring?

that's why flip should have already been moved him..

at the trade deadline to playoff contenders with injuries, a lot of those guys would have been valuable.. hell, I have no clue why he just bought out barea

everyone and their ma should have know the value he would have with the mavs.. could have at least gotten something

First time logging in since before the lottery. Was about to run through these pages, but why bother? The slander is warranted after what these **** sucking idiots did at the end of the season.

Reevaluating everything.

I think Pek was hurt during that time. Plus, nobody was banging on the door looking for an injury prone Center making 12M, especially none of the playoff contenders.

I rationalized it... at least top 4 means a great prospect... it's hard to be mad at that.

But I wanted KAT and I wanted our young big man for the future. "Settling" for Mudiay isn't a bad consolation prize as you're getting an elite prospect, but still.

It's just the disappointment that OF COURSE the Knicks dropped back in the draft. OF ******* COURSE WE DID. It's just twisting the knife for the fans.
